Spectre of the Gun.

Of all the ranges I’ve used and rented from, Mag’s is the most professional so far. That is, their procedures for new customers. As most ranges offer classes for proper gun ownership and use, Mag’s requires an orientation for new renters. Obviously they want to promote a learning environment rather than just collect the rental fees and sell ammo. It’s the type of ethics that encourages repeat business. During my two visits, I noticed many older citizens using the range and taking more advance coursework as well. My purpose was to rent and shoot full auto, an experience I’ve not had since the military, and a privilege I’ll never know as long as I’m a CA resident. My time at Mag’s were enjoyable and the prices were very reasonable. As a lifetime NRA member, I give Mag’s high marks and hope there’s other such ranges that follow this example. Their approach has they’ve added to my gun knowledge. If you want to own, they have a fairly good inventory also, with reasonable prices. Lastly, now that I’ve shot all their full-autos, I may use the indoor archery range.

I love this place. Huge lot for truckers and those pulling a trailer. Range fee is NOT hourly so I can take my time and really enjoy myself. They even allow kids in the range. It was a kid about 11 shooting next to his dad.

It was such an awesome experience.
So friendly staff and everything was explained so well.
As we are from Germany we had no experience with shooting a gun before-
But that was not a problem .
If you want to shot a gun this is a perfect place !

First let me say I don't typically go this far out of Albuquerque to shop for my ammunition, accessories, or firearms but I will now. I had the best experience the other day! I walked into the store not really expecting a whole lot but I was greeted by Victoria and Kat, these two ladies were so nice! And on top of that, they were both so helpful and knowledgeable. Its hard to find all of that these days. Though, I didn't leave with any merchandise this time around, I will ABSOLUTELY be visiting again because of these two ladies.

Went in to the shop on Wednesday and Was a little let down by the lack of inventory but the staff made up for it! Kat and Vic were super nice and made the experience awesome! Was also reassured that more inventory would be coming and lots of cool new rentals are in the works! I will be back for sure to shoot and check out new gear they get in!

Just recently took a class here, used the shooting range and interacted with staff. Great place, great people and great price. Love supporting local, we will definitely be back for another class and fun shooting!

Great hidden gem. Staff was polite and helpful. Range time was unlimited so I didn’t feel rush and they have trucker friendly lot which is a bonus because they are walking distant from Lisa truck stop off exit 197 (I-40). I now have a place to stop and get some training whenever I come this way.

There are not too many gun shops that I do business with but Mags is my go-to for anything firearms related. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have a nice selection of new and used firearms, accessories and ammunition at competitive prices. The gun rentals are a nice addition also - including the full-autos. I visited Mags last week and I see Armaspec has a wide selection of products in stock! This is a nice addition to the store. I will always come to Mags first before any other store just because of the customer service!

I highly recommend checking out MAGS, they have a wide selection of ammo, guns, and equipment. The staff were so helpful, Victoria and Kat helped me find the right attachments for my new conceal carry. Friendly staff and will definitely be going back for any of my gun/ammo needs!

Vic is great! She is very knowledgeable and helpful. She has a lot great information about the guns I've been interested in! Highly recommend to anyone who is looking to purchase gun or just wants more information!

Really like this place. Nice and clean environment. Helpful, knowledgeable, employees. Reasonable yearly membership cost. Veterans discounts on membership and most store items. Great transfer costs for internet shipped items. The only small downside is the range is 20 yards, plenty for handgun and bows but somewhat short for rifle zeroing. That said, really good place and people - strongly recommend it!

Such a great experience. I normally don't like going to indoor ranges but decided to try it out. Vic was super helpful and nice!! So I'll definitely be coming back just because of her!

Parked at the truck stop for my break. Walked over to this little gem. Nice little place. Range was really clean. Nice selection of Comp-Tac holsters. Rented and shot a semi auto pistol. $65 give or take. Gun ammo target ears and eyes. No rush and very safe.

Always friendly and knowledgeable about there products. Have a lot of AR product which is nice to see and at a reasonable price stop by every trip to check them out and usually find something to buy great place to stop if you’re into guns

Every time I have gone into Mags, their selection is great and customer service is even better! Victoria was very knowledgeable and was able to quickly assist me with what I was looking for. Look them up for your firearms needs!

Great and friendly staff! Victoria was the gal who assisted me. Their gun inventory was low at the time but I was reassured inventory would be stocked soon. I will be back for sure! Highly recommend.

The folks at Mags have always been great to us. My husband and I have bought several guns here and do all of our transfers through them. We’ve also had concealed carry training in their classroom/range.

Pretty cool range with knowledgeable staff. Victoria was awesome, friendly, and went out of her way to help me with some questions. 10/10 would recommend this place.

Excellent place to have a quick adventure. The staff is supportive and very attentive. The full auto experience was a BLAST! Even my 14 year old daughter enjoy her surprise on her birthday. Definitely don't pass it by.

Vic . Was such a great help. She was very friendly and very knowledgeable of everything. She made the entire experience a blast. Definitely will be coming back.
