Bon Vivant Market Wine & Brew of Smithfield

We have been a patron of Bon Vivant for years. The prices are good and the wine is great. What makes it exceptional is the service and customer care. We simply order wine with little guidance e.g. price point, reds or whites etc and the staff picks the wines and we always amazed.

I go into this store a few times a year for some specialty beer and wine, I typically base it around holidays to get the special beers that come out. The staff is always very friendly, and helpful.

The wife and I were driving home after attending granddaughter's softball game and eating lunch in Smithfield. My wife spotted the store as were driving by and after a quick discussion, we made a U-turn to check it out. A great decision I must say. Don't let the size of the store fool you. It is fully stocked. Steve gave us a tour and some samples. We walked away with 6 bottles and a promise to return. Military discount for veterans. I highly recommend them.

Always great wines and prices. They always give great recommendations for gifts and wine to drink.

I really enjoy going here with my husband. Labels are my favorite thing to look at, and it’s all local breweries. The people here are incredibly nice and it’s just a fun little place to check things out. I know absolutely nothing when it comes to wine and they helped me pick some wine out for a friends birthday gift and she loved every sip!

Very friendly and helpful. Great selection of beers and wines. Highly recommend you check it out. When I need my next batch of Fuller's London Pride, this is the place I will call.

Ever since I've lived here, Bon vivant is my place for quality craft beer. Mike is the sommelier of wine and beer - there is nothing that I've asked that Mike doesn't know the answer to.

They do beer and wine tastings, and have a cornucopia of options to choose from. They can even get kegs!

Excellent selection of beers & wines. Friendly, knowledgeable staff know their product & can be counted on to make excellent suggestions. Enjoy visiting on Fridays & Saturdays to taste very good wines at great price points.

Local wine shops are the best and this one is exceptional! I have know the owner for years and the customer care, wine selections and quality are unrivaled. If in the 757 or visiting Smithfield, it is worth the time and travel to visit Bon Vivant.

This is our go-to for prime wine and beer, and we always love talking with the staff and ownership who makes the world of wine a little less daunting and much more fun.

Great local spot for beer and wine. Friendly staff that loves their craft. Always getting new things in stock, and they have a fantastic selection. Don't let the small size fool you. Stop by on the 3rd Friday of the month for wine tasting, and the last Friday beer tasting and education.

Little Building, BIG selection. We almost missed the little brick building slightly set back from the road. The beer room was small, but full of variety. We loved all the additional Knick knacks (glasses, napkins, wine purses, jarred goodies). We had fun picking a range of new beers to try. Hopefully they get the beer and wine tasting night going again! We will be back! Cheers 🍻

Love this place!! Filled with all the tasty libations you'd ever need. Whole room dedicated to craft beers of every kind. If that's not your glass there is another room chock full of wines from all over the world. Seriously, if you can't find something you like here then you're just not trying.

Bon Vivant has a nice selection of unique, boutique style wines not readily available anywhere else in the area. Mike and his staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. This is a must stop and shop for wine Lovers!🍷🍷

Very good suggestions and selections of both beer and wine. Prices are decent and a wide array for any budget. I by almost all my wine here but they are close so it's easy for me.

Bon Vivant Wine & Brew Shop is a Hidden Gem in Smithfield Virginia. You have to come by and talk to proprietor Mike Adams who will be all too happy to take you through his shop and tell you about every single product that he has. Most definitely recommend you make this your primary stop when you come into this town.

If you are looking for some randomly obscure beer from the Bavarian alps or a local favorite from oozlefinch, odds are Mike's got it in stock. He manages to pack a huge diversity of beer into the tiniest of venues, and he knows them all. Oh and he's got a good wine selection, too. If that's more your thing.

I've lived here for 11 years and drive past this place every day, always saying I should stop sometime, well today I did and I wasn't disappointed. Such a great selection of beer. I can't wait to get tasting on the 12 I purchased. Will visit again soon. 🥰
