The Wine & Cheese Place is fantastic! With so many options, I could spend a whole day browsing their liquor, beer, and wine. They also have a great variety of cheeses, meats, snacks, and sweets. I plan on returning!

This store has a decent cheese selection. However where it really shines is in the beer, wine, and alcohol selection. I kept finding more and more products as I wondered through the store. I even found bags of charcoal for grilling and bags of wood chunks (hickory and apple) for smoking meats.

I’m a huge fan of the Wine & cheese Place! They have one of the best selections of whisky and scotch in town, and I’ve found several unique liquors at great prices. They’re always happy to let you try spirits if they have one open at their tasting bar. They also do private picks of select liquors, and they’re priced really well for a unique addition to your collection at home. The guys there are really helpful if you’re looking for something in particular, and I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the Clayton area.

Great selections and funny staff. I asked the price on an item and the dude said “$37.99, but for you… $37.99.” Was also helpful with showing different options for sour beers.

We had a great time perusing the hundreds of spirits here, we didn't even get start on the wine but they had SO MANY labels.

The main store in Clayton has a fantastic selection of wines, spirits, beers & ales, and of course cheeses! As a whisky fanatic, thier whisky guru Dave is definitely worth talking to, and he always has a wide selection of samples available at the InFamous Bar to try before you buy! The overall shopping experience is outstanding!

The selections of wines was mind blowing! Also many other spirits too. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly! They had the German wines I love and a sparkling red I bought for Thanksgiving. I will return.

Largest selection of quality wines, spirits, and beer in a store this size! Hundreds of different beers, close to a thousand (?) wines, and hundreds of spirits. Yowsa! 😊 Good for a quick shopping experience or a detailed browsing. Unbelievable selection! Great online site as well, order ahead and if needed they can do an intra-store transfer; may take a day or two, but they will make sure what you want is at the store at the time of your shopping! Amazing store. Great help, incredible selection and consistently adding events to keep clients up to speed on interesting new items. Just registered for their beer club after visiting their store for years purchasing wine and bourbon. They really do have the best selection in St Louis. They cover every price point and have the best range of inventory. Love this place. I always seem to find something here.

I am frequent customer. Great selection of wines from around the world. Always something interesting on the shelf. All price points represented so if you are looking for something budget friendly you can certainly find that but also more expensive wines for the special occasion are also available. Organic wines and biodynamic are also in stock, if that is your type of thing and I have had good luck with wines in that category. They also have lots of other items besides wine (beers, bourbons, gins, etc.) I haven't bought too much cheese here so I won't comment on that but the wine is fantastic.

5 Star Experience All Around! Great pricing (including a killer deal on a certain single malt Scotch) and the order was processed and shipped fast. It even came a day early from FedEx's original email. The Wine and Cheese Place has some great pricing and their staff was prompt to answer emails. The package was well done so everything arrived safe and sound. I'll buy online from them again for sure.

One of the best liquor stores I’ve ever been to. Great wine selection and their mezcal variety is absolutely outstanding. I live in Florida now an am lucky if I can even find some average stuff down here. Coming into the STL in a couple weeks and can’t wait to stop by!

They have an awesome selection of liquor (everything from whiskey to mezcal and absinthe), beer and wine. Their cheese counter is one of the best in the area.

The reason I use them primarily though, is their excellent customer service and prices. They are fair with allocated products (which is especially appreciated given the silly bourbon boom right now), they go out of their way to be helpful, offer great samples and events, and do their best to take care of repeat customers.

Given their prices (which are the best in the area), I don't see a reason to go anywhere else.

Fantastic selection and reasonable prices for all types of beverages 🍻🍷🍹🍸 (plus great cheese, their own roasted nuts (wow), sausage, and other stuff) in a safe and convenient location. Virtually everything is priced competitive with grocery stores, but you get a much larger, better quality selection and you don't need to wait for a sale to get a good deal for your $$$s.

If you're not sure of what you are looking for, the staff is great and has never steered us wrong...even on a $10 bottle of wine. They may even have a bottle of what you're considering already open and will let you try some!
