Excellent, friendly service. always. Today they went above and beyond to help with a delivery. We would have had to wait for 2 weeks but they squeezed us in to the delivery route today, without me even asking! These are the things that separate good from great, to me.

This place is great ! Every time I have been there, they went in to detail to help a wanna be welder. I feel awkward going in to purchase something that I don’t know much about but they take their time to make sure you get what you need and that you have a basic understanding of how to use it. Youtube helps also, lol, and taking a class will be even better. Going back today for a plasma cutter.

The front desk gentleman was very sweet and helped me greatly with my purchases.

I hope you never need parts for your welder. Been waiting on a simple spool adapter for my little pro-mig 135 for over 2 weeks now and they can't seem to tell me when it will be in " we have to wait for Lincoln to decide to send it to us" is all i ever get. If your machine is down you can go out of business waiting on parts from them.

If they would lower their ridiculous prices and become more competitive with their competitor we would use them more. Their greedy!

Would give them no stars, but it's not an option. Guy at the counter has no people skills and is rude. They refuse to refill my welding gas bottles on-site, required exchange, and cost roughly 50% more just for their gas than other local suppliers, plus $34 in ridiculous fees. This place is a rip-off! Andy Oxy will be getting my business from now on. What should have cost less than $50 at Andy Oxy cost me almost $100 here. Hindsight is definitely 20/20. Will never do business here again.

In November 2020 I stopped by Air gas in Asheville NC to get a 5lb CO2 tank refilled. They brought me an exchange tank out. I thought this should not be an issue since they are supposed to inspect the tanks before releasing them. My tank was maybe a year old. It is now March of 2021 and the tank was empty. Not saying I don’t have a leak on my end, so I took that tank to a local store to have it exchanged. Turns out it was out of date and that cost me an extra $25. Lesson learned on my part. Do not plan on doing business with Air gas of Asheville any more. Hope this will help someone.
