Blake's Toy Chest

It's always a blast to walk in because I am blown away by long forgotten relics from my past. It conjures the feels as memories flood back and makes me spend copious amounts of time secretly relieving my childhood. There's always a lot to look at, both old and new, and am blown away by my experiences there. Added bonus; the prices aren't insane or scalper-esque. I pity the fool who doesn't like the Toy Chest.

Cool place. They had some vintage joes, moderns, transformers, mask, he-man, neca, etc. Was able to trade and buy. Will need to return.

Made the drive to Blakes from Charlotte looking for some vintage Gi Joe and I’m happy I did. I figured I would hit some other vintage toy stores on the way back but there was no need. The shop had pretty much every vehicle, figure and play set you can think of at a fair price. I went home with a car full of awesome 80’s toys.

Great place to find vintage toys! They are super knowledgeable about all sorts of vintage toys and toy lines and willing to keep an eye out for items you might be looking for. It's also a great place to meet other collectors. Always find something new. Always fun to visit the store!!

I loved this store. Reminded me of childhood. I have met these owners at toy shows and they are always priced less than the other sellers at these shows. So I went in one Sunday and found a 12 inch vintage Luke skywalker for 25 bucks. On eBay the boots alone on this figure are selling for this. Very pleased at finding a toy from my childhood and not at a jacked up price. Nice people inside the store. And yes they have vintage Star Wars, Gi Joes, He Man, ....transformers....you name it. Great shop. I will go back as they are way cheaper than e bay.

Blake's is my absolute favorite shop in Lexington. Every time I head that way from Thomasville I always stop in to check out the constantly updated merchandise. Blake is friendly and knowledgeable while also being inclusive to new comers to the collector scene which is quite refreshing! Their prices are unbeatable and their selection is unparalleled! Blake's toy chest is a must to all collectors of toys, comics and movie memorabilia as well as anyone who has kids or has ever been a child at any point in their lives!

Shopped at Blake's Toy Chest this afternoon. I purchased a 1998 WNBA Barbie for my daughter. She was thrilled to have this Barbie. If you're looking for vintage toys this is the place to go. Outstanding friendly customer service and atmosphere. 🙂👍
