Pepper Palace

We had to look at this place 'cause our son is a mid-range pepper head. He tried a few samples and bought a few things. I enjoyed talking to the young man running the place and handing out free samples. They have a wide range of stuff from mild to sign a waiver. They had some cool t shirts with their logo and I got a good deal on one. I've been to a few other locations, they have three just in New Orleans.

6/8/23: I highly recommend this place if you like hot spices. There is so much variety to choose from. You can sample all of them mostly before purchasing it. Employee female that was there was very helpful and place is well organized. Please Share, Like and Follow for more #JaysTrueRatings

I can’t stop thinking about this place. I think I may have an addiction. I masochistically love heat, the spicy kind! And this is where I can feed my addiction. I love that we can sample everything, which makes sense bc it’s not like folks r taking giant shots of reaper suace (except me)! It’s fun to try the capsicum extract that requires a waiver to sample bc it’s considered dangerously spicy, afterall they use it in pepper sprays. And no, you cannot find these hot things in normal grocery stores, in fact the hottest I can ever find is ghost level sauces but they’re highly diluted and loaded with other junk ingredients that make them weak. (Tobasco scorpion is pretty much the only exception) But if u want puro, come here. And these guys know their stuff, they’re great to talk to! My favorite thing now is wicked reaper powder, specifically bc it’s a powder, & that pepper is as hot as u can get for a powder, & bc it is pure, so more bang for buck and it smells so ridiculously good; incredibly sweet & almost umami if that had a smell. So it doesn’t take much to get a nice bite, and I can dilute as needed, for example in the EVOO in my fav tomato/avocado salad with some sichuans to exaggerate the effect. So if you want spices that you can’t find at a grocer & want to have a fun time & sample before you buy, but most of all like spice, come here!

This place is amazing. No matter what you like they will have something for you. I love the sweet chili wing sauce.

A large variety of different bbq sauce, wing sauce, and salsa all made by Pepper Palace. They have most of the sauces out to sample. The manager Noel was super friendly and even offered suggestions.

Second visit to this location, its a hot sauce & flavored condiments lovers dream come true- wide variety to choose from and the manager Noel, should be named sales man of the year, always gets me to buy more than I had intended when I stop in. The employees here are very jovial and customer friendly, got to love the cleanliness and organization of the store- very inviting from outside, recommend anyone looking for great spicy flavors check this out- I’ll be back soon!

This is a hot sauce lovers dream store. They even have samples for most sauces. I will be back.

Great selection and friendly staff. Products taste great as well. Unfortunately they don’t offer the heat level my friends and I were after. We asked for the hottest and they recommended a Carolina reaper sauce they had there. Unfortunately my friends and I were able to drink it right out of the bottle. Great flavor but not enough heat.

Amazing choices for salsas. Great inventory. Management…no so. Tried to apply for a job and manager was more focused on my being late 5 minutes for “Interview” than my actual application and qualifications. I’m sure they will have a hard time finding someone to work for them.

Terrible customer service. God forbid you make a single mistake of accidentally spilling 2 droplets of salsa and get kicked out for trying to browse the copious sauce selection they had to offer, I was there with some of my buds when this occurred. They did however have good music playing, but that's all the positives I'll say about this place. You're better off going to a separate Pepper Palace rather than this one.
