Daiso

This place is so adorable! I love coming here to check out the available stationary items and even take home a different plushy each time (I have so many at this point 😅)! It’s my dream to go to Japan one day and I love how this place is the closest I can get to it! The place generally gives off a cozy vibe, and let’s be real, their drink options are great! But my most absolute favorite drink to get is a strawberry Calpico. I love how they’re fully stocked of this drink!

So glad to have Daiso in Richardson. They have the majority of items as the other locations but the store is much smaller. I wish they had more items for the Lunar year. Overall, Daiso never disappoints. I love the self checkout too.

좀 작긴한데 있을건 다 있음. 식품은 사지 않는걸 추천... 너무 비싸고 차라리 옆 월마트나 타겟이 훨씬 쌀듯. 대신 식기나 기타 잡화용품들은 너무 너무 가성비 있음. 추천.

Edit 3/2024: they've since added everything I described in this review. The initial review was based on my observation during their first month open. Now there is a wider selection and the Pilot pens are there. Hopefully there will be more expanded selection of outdoor goods and fishing lures lol

Good store and great location. It's so nice to finally have one close by where I live. Was a bit disappointed in the selection of goods compared to other Daiso locations. For example umbrellas and Pilot pens. Hoping their inventory expands a bit more.

They have some cool containers for the kitchen. Good place to get gift bags.

Cute place with lots of fun items! Girl with teal green hair working there was pretty unfriendly/made me feel unwelcome which is why I gave it 3 stars! Hopefully I’ll go in when she won’t be there next time!

Yesterday was my first day visiting the store and maybe my last. The store smell so bad. I couldn't stand the smell even with the mask on. I got a few things from the store. If there was no bad odor in the store. I would have shop longer and possible buy more stuff. I asked the store clerk why there's that smell at the store and he doesn't know why. I was thinking of trying the Japanese restaurant next door after Diaso, but had lost appetite after I got out of the store. That's how bad the smell was.
