It's always a pleasure to visit the Riverside Chocolate Factory. Every employee I've met here is so helpful, kind, and patient.

It's amazing seeing all the rows of different candy and the awesome chocolates and fudge they make in house. If you get a chance to stop in I would get a sampler of a few different flavors of fudge to try and something from the chocolate case like the toffee. They have a great selection of both milk and dark chocolate as well.

Just walking in itself is a treat! I've had to pass here many times and finally decided to check it out and I sure am glad I did! The selection and unique chocolate they make are amazing, the taste is unbelievable, so good! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Against the better wishes of my dentist I will be stopping here each time I pass by!!

They offer all the chocolate goodies one can image. Their goodies may be a bit more on the expensive side , but once you get a taste , it’s totally worth it . I personally love their Chocolate covered strawberries . They’re so good that even my kitty tries to take a nibble from them from time to time 😂. I also love their chocolate covered gummy bears and the pecan ice cream they sell. Highly recommend this place ☺ !

Small family owned candy store located in a building shaped like a huge Hershey Kiss.

Known for their hand dipped toffee along with caramels and turtles.

Small section featuring "Old Time" candy which brought back many childhood memories

They also serve homemade ice creams as well as chocolate covered fruits and fudge.

Prices are not cheap but the quality makes it worth while.

We order the hardest things on the menu and the staff is patient and kind everytime. The coffee shakes are amazing. Today I got the Apple Crisp with Bourbon Carmel and nuts. It was insanely amazing. I'd show you a pick but I can't! It's gone. We love it here. It needs no introduction but try the apple crisp.

My partner and I were stopping for gas when we noticed Riverside Chocolate Factory. We could not have chosen a better stop on our adventure.

The staff were incredibly kind and passionate about their craft. I felt so taken care of from the moment I walked in.

After leaving with much more than I expected to purchase, I do not have one single regret. From the fresh strawberries, to the rich chocolate. This little chocolate shop was perfectly memorable.

I can’t wait the next time I make my way around there. Because I will definitely take a detour for some more of their treats and company.

Went in looking to get chocolate covered fruit but left with so much more including ice cream cones, which were amazingly good!

Our first visit here was so much fun! They were a little busy but still provided excellent service! All of the staff working the ice cream counter were super friendly and helpful. The chocolate dipped waffle cones are delicious! We sat outside at the tables and enjoyed our first visit! This place is amazing!

Such a fun little place to get sweets or ice cream. Staff is great and the service was fast. My ice cream cone was huge and took me about 30 minutes to finish, it was fantastic!

Always great homemade candies.. this time she gave me the wrong fudge , it was OK but not what I asked for. She wasn't very customer friendly as usually they are but it's still a great place to visit, they also have a great selection of old time candy as well.

Talk about a tiny place with a big heart! This place has it all! It looks so small, but inside it has more than meets the eye. Fresh homemade chocolate in dark and milk varieties, ice cream selection to die for, old fashioned candies, chocolate dipped fruit, and so much more. The service is fast, friendly, and makes excellent recommendations! They really know their chocolate. Many of their day old chocolates are half price, so they are fun to sample something new without breaking the bank. We will be back!

I been driving past here to many times since i moved 20mins away. So on my birthday I made sure to come in with my kids. We got a little bit of everything. Happy I came in.

I'm going to take my time and look at everything before I place my order next time!

What a fun place! Fantastic ice cream and vintage candy from yesteryear. So much fun to point at all the candy with my wife… remember these? 😂 Stop by… very nice people there.

Higher end chocolate store. More like something that you would see if you were on vacation. The chocolate and fudge we bought was very good and will buy again. My wife tried and purchased a couple pieces of chocolate covered bacon that she really liked.

2 lbs of chocolate fit into this tiny box so the saying is true good things come in small packages haha! Mint meltaways and Trinidad’s are my personal favorite but there is so many to choose from. I felt like a kid in a candy store in here and the smell is delicious too of the freshly made candies cooking in the back. Two things to note the bacon was good but I had expected crunchy and it wasn’t but still good also the chocolate covered pears were not as good as they sounded they must be gelatin or something in the middle but the chocolate covering them was worth buying it’s so fresh!

It's a Chocolate factory that specializes in fudge. I have been going there for over 20 years as a McHenry native. Fast curtious service. Fresh product to die for.Highly recommend this place.

Everyone was helpful and friendly.. brought back memories of candies from when we were kid! Ice cream is very good.. we got Waffle bowls with Fat Elvis, this got #@$% serious, and door county cherry.. sooo good! A.must stop ..lil expensive, but worth it! Love the painting on the side of the building!
