I didn't know what to expect, but it certainly wasn't a boutique experience. I needed a compression garment after a lumpectomy and radiation. When I saw "medical supply store", I expected something very clinical. Benchmark is the opposite, with warm, caring, and personal touches. I was shown several options, fitted expertly, and shown how to adjust/care for the bra and padding. I wish *everyone* going through breast cancer had access to a place like this.

I feel comfortable and beautiful at every piece I've got from Benchmark Atlantic Healthcare. I highly recommend this place. Kathy and Susan were amazing. They understood my need and found me something that made me feel very confident about myself again for the first time since my surgery. They spent enough time with me to find me a solution that I felt good about.

Such a calm and caring place to come to for my prostheses and mastectomy bras. Cathy is so kind and reassuring and always finds products that fit and make me feel pretty. She turns what could be an uncomfortable, stressful process into a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend this boutique for post breast surgery products.

I brought my 100 year-old mother to be fitted for a bra and prosthesis, more than 40 years post-surgery. Everyone at Benchmark could not have been kinder or more attentive. Special thanks to Lynn, our fitter. She was knowledgeable, patient, and so sensitive to my mother's feelings and concerns. We could not have asked for a better experience. My mother is thrilled with her new look - it is a game changer!

Just wanted to say that my experience at Benchmark yesterday was excellent. The staff is very helpful and really take their time explaining the different products that are available. They were in no rush and kept bringing in product until I found the most comfortable prothesis and bras. They then explained how my Medicare benefits worked (very helpful since I had no idea). I highly recommend them for anyone who may need this service.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would!!! The women here are very nice and helpful. They have products that can help greatly reduce lymphedema pain! I highly recommend this place.

I had such a great experience with Cathy. She went above and beyond to help me with my prosthesis. It was such a quick process and she was so kind and knowledgeable. I couldn't be happier with my prothesis. It fits perfectly and I'm amazed with the quality. I couldn't be more thankful for help.

Kathy and her team are wonderful. My mother and I have been coming here. Two different issues but they help us look our best. I have implants from reconstruction but mother had lumlectomies. We both leave happy and look fantastic. We are treated with compassion and respect. This group of ladies truly care.

I recently had lymphedema treatment on my left leg. I was referred to Benchmark Atlantic Healthcare for the leg piece and foot piece I needed. I reviewed their website thoroughly before ordering and was very impressed with what I read. I reached out by email because I had a question on paying. Holly answered me and helped me place my order and process my payment. I was very impressed by Holly and the personality of the company based on her and the wonderful website and biographies of the staff and owners. She is professional, courteous, empathetic and understanding and provided so much help. Thank you, Holly.

Benchmark is my go to fitter for bras after surgery for breast cancer, as well as compression sleeves/stockings. The staff is very knowledgeable and compassionate and will work with your insurance if possible. Their store in McHenry is worth the drive for a quality fitting that will leave you wondering why it took you so long to schedule an appointment! They also have a great website that is easy to navigate if you know the product and size you need. As a lymphedema therapist, I highly recommend!

Benchmark is the one of the premier compression therapy vendors on the Chicagoland area. I am a Lymphedema certified physical therapist and have worked closely with them for years. The staff is very knowledgeable in all aspects of compression garments and do a fabulous job problem solving to get patients the right products. The boutique in McHenry is lovely and worth the trip to get a personalized fitting if possible. Otherwise, the online purchasing option is easy if you already know what you need.
