Dollar General

This is strictly an employee review as the store itself has a few flaws (under stocked with items at times, sections blocked by pallets that need to be unboxed, etc.). This 5 star rating goes to one of your employees, Stacey (apologize if the spelling is wrong). On several different occasions, she has been more than helpful with helping me look for items...literally walking around with me and helping me look instead of saying check aisle 5 or something along those lines. She has always been super kind and not once has she ever given an impression that she was annoyed with helping me, in fact she gives the complete opposite and is more than happy to help. There have been times where she is the only one I've seen in the store (others may be on break or in the back) but she remains calm, kind, and helpful no matter how busy it gets in there. I have never seen her frazzled or short with a customer. She truly is a wonderful employee all the around and I hope she sees this as well as management because she definitely deserves some acknowledgement. Thank you Stacey!

Great place to save money and I never realized how close it is to me. Clean, organized and friendly staff to help me locate everything I need. Thank you to all the sales associates and managers, you guys get three thumbs up and my business, I'll definitely be back!

Had a price discrepancy at the dollar general on w. Sherman. Very rude staff there and wouldn't compensate me for being overcharged even though we went over the receipt and items numerous times. Made a call to the Hts Ravenna location... spoke with Carolynn, the manager. Explained my situation and drove 20 mins to this store to get the problem resolved. Carolynn was nothing but respectful and helpful and even took care of the problem. Needless to stay I will be calling corporate on the Sherman store. If you need to do shopping at dollar general and want to leave happy and respected, don't go anywhere but dollar general on hts Ravenna. They take care of you like their own. High five to Carolynn for being the woman!!! Thank you again!!

I shop here all the time. If you download the app you can get access to all of the available coupons and special offers. I have saved alot of money and time from doing this. The associates are always very friendly and helpful.

Doesn't always have what I am looking for, but that is to be expected from a discount store. It's clean and a quick in and out for when I need a few items.

LOOOOOVE THIS D.G.! Soooooooooo many cute things for cheap! They have everything that you could almost possibly need from cleaning products, dishes, towels, clothes , pictures , school supplies, rugs, bathroom stuff, greeting cards, knick knacks, food, drinks (they accept EBT), cigarettes, and much much more. Mind you it's all so cheap too!!!

I was pleasantly surprised to find such a wide variety of products including fresh bread and eggs as well as toys and cleaning supplies

Lots of good deals and had someone tell me where the stuff was that I was looking for, also didn't have to wait for check-out.(I saved 6.45 on my stuff)

Good I'm a vendor rep for survey.com and it is a good place small but one of the nicest dollar general I been to and not ever work for yet

They carry all of my favorite items. I Love their iced oatmeal cookies
