Harbor Freight Tools

This was my first time every going into a Harbour Freight store. This place was amazing compared to the Lowe’s next door especially for pricing and availability on power tools. Isaac that works there was super helpful! He was helping customers, ringing them up at the checkout line, answering the phone and grabbing large inventory from stock and wheeling it out to the customer’s trucks all at the same time and at lightning fast speed. Please give that man a raise and I will be back in the future.

I came here for some tools I needed because I can usually get them at a better price than elsewhere.
Some people say that the tools here are not built to hold up, but that has not been my experience. I have many tools I purchased from Harbor Freight 8 or none years ago. Some have seen their share of hard work and are still running just fine. I don't use them professionally, but I do quite a few projects. I only once had a problem, and they exchanged it under warranty without any argument.

I feel that for most people who don't use their tools every day, the quality of what you get here is good. I would guess even the professional would come out ahead even if they had to replace the tools more often because the difference in pricing is quite a bit.

For that reason, I say check the reviews, but as for me, I recommend this place.

Great customer service and great place to get household tools. You can get a club membership price currently at $30 a year to get low prices on certain items. Pretty good if you are a frequent shopper. Overall the atmosphere is great and they go through great lengths to make sure you are satisfied.

I'm a novice when it comes to any tools beyond a hammer and nails. I wanted to hang a 20lb mirror in my drywall and decided a hammer and nail probably wouldn't suffice. I was looking for a power drill, not knowing exactly what kind I'd need for the job and was greeted by an associate pretty quickly. He inquired what I was looking for, what kind of project it was for and guided me through the different equipment capabilities, pricing and any additional attachments and accessories I might need. He also advised me of the best mounting hardware for hanging large, heavy objects in drywall. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I probably asked some really rookie questions, but he didn't make me feel stupid 😳 I ended up purchasing other items as well because they were doing a pre black Friday sale. I am surprised at how affordable most everything is and signed up for their loyalty program. The emails they send out are a bit too frequent for my liking, but they highlight the very best deals going on and the occasional giveaways, which is always appreciated!

Harbor Freight is exactly what you’re expecting. They are starting to carry some tools that compete with the name brands as well and their prices reflect that. They do however still have the very budget classics that keep people coming back. The employees are great, but I wish there were more of them walking around because the layout feels random and I can never find anything. The website is great for seeing if things are in-stock before you drive over.

This store is well stocked compared to my store back home. A bit on the dark side could use better lighting. As always harbor freight has improved by leaps and bounds with there line up of tools. Having add what I would consider true professional tools to the market. This store is easy to access being on one of the main drags in town. Give them a try the tools quality might shock you.

Most of the time, decent products at fantastic prices. Good warranties on many things and their club saves you even more.

The staff at Ammon are helpful and friendly. Much better than Rexburg.

Went in just now and was helped by a man named Isaac. I was able to get everything I needed and was informed of some additional sales. Very much appreciated his service today!

Got to love Harbor Freight. Their car air compressor was tested by Project Farm on YouTube and it came out on top compared to all the major brands. Quite a machine for $38.

Chris, the manager at this location, was so great to work with. I was there with our elementary school PTO and he took such good care of us!

So much help! Couldn't find the size of my lugnut on my bus. Manager came out and found me the right size. Josh is awesome!

Picked up the 3500 watt inverter generator with a $100 of coupon. Awesome generator. You just have to learn what to but and what NOT to buy from this place. There's a good amount of YouTube videos out there reviewing harbor freight tools. Some are great, some are garbage.

I always like to leave a review for good service. That's what they provided today. I've been in many times and the employees are great. Today it was just above and beyond. I want to say the gentleman's name was Rocky just had a great attitude! He helped me with the purchase of a welder. It went smooth he provided perfect information on warranty and benefits to it. I did the 2 year because it sounded like a great deal. Really his way of presenting it and he was so happy to help was the main reason for extending the Warranty. thank you Rocky!

The new Hercules line of power tools are an amazing deal. I hope they don't disappoint.

All the cool tools and gadgets to complete any project at work at school or at home. Love this place!

If you need a steamer this is the perfect place to buy one

This place is a must "first" stop for tools. Seriously. You can't beat the prices. Yes, the quality of most things are not first rate, but they have what you need in a pinch or during times of the day other places are closed. Besides, there is an awesome short term warranty on most things. Fairly large selection of tools, tarps, power tools, and miscellaneous things like power strips, extension cords, buckets, toolboxes, and even some welding equipment, etc.

A great place to get tools. Friendly atmosphere. And great service

Got a good deal on a hand truck to move some furniture to big to move it any other way

They have a lot of good sales on tools.
