Reed's Dairy

Delicious dairy and best spot to stop on a road trip to or from Yellowstone. The staff is friendly and the building is clean and well maintained. The bathroom is decent (far better than the Maverick across the street, so if you need a pit stop I recommend using the restroom here).

Kiddos enjoyed sitting down to eat a grilled cheese, then licking their huckleberry chocolate twist soft serve while we visited the farm animals (cows, goats, chickens, sheep). The squeaky cheese is a great road trip snack.

Reed’s is easily my favorite place to grab a treat in Idaho Falls. My family loves their ice cream, waffle cones, chocolate milk, egg nog, and grilled cheese sandwiches.

Amazing lunch deals here. Grilled cheese is perfect every time, and the tomato soup is delicious as well.
My favorite ice cream is the Chocolate Almond, it's to die for!

Best chocolate milk ever. Before they offered delivery, we would drive from SLC for the day. The only agenda on the trip would be to get a truck bed full of chocolate milk and bring it home to our friends. My point? It's worth a 7 hour round trip drive in the winter. Delicious

I'm all for finding the local joints, the places that bring life to a city from the standpoint of how their food speaks, Reed's Dairy is another Idaho Falls contender that has made itself into that mix. Oh the creaminess of this ice cream! Ice cream is among the top 2-3 of all time, there is a reason it's been a long-time Idaho home grown staple! Options for ice cream are plentiful! Prices have been adjusted due to inflation, well the ice cream itself is fantastic, this is something to consider in your visit. The staff has always been super polite, and recommend supporting this local business!

Sad to see the damage from the fire. But they are up and running with more drive than ever. The employees are great and they will not be under done. Great icecream, grilled cheese, and can't forget the chocolate milk.

Although I don’t like the sweet, cloying smell inside the building, the treats make up for it.

This place has amazing ice cream. It is very fresh and I love that I can support a local business. The employees are very friendly and helpful. There are many flavors to choose from. I can't wait to return and try them all! The Gorilla Munch flavor is my absolute FAVORITE! I will definitely get that one again! You can also buy bigger containers of ice cream to go. It is also fun to take your kids here to see the animals. The goats are hilarious! This place is a staple in our diet!

I just stopped to buy regular eggnog; chocolate eggnog and chocolate milk for family that will be here for Christmas. It’s a must to have all these in my house for our kids and grandkids. You can’t go wrong with anything from Reeds Dairy!!! Oh and a bag of regular cheese curds.

Every time I visit one of their locations I always receive great service and excellent product! Their Grasshopper flavor is the best! I wish all the best to the family and company as whole and hope their recent, devastating loss can be overcome.

They have a amazing ice cream and lunch specials. Their Italian ice is from Karie Ann’s, which is phenomenal. Don’t forget to go outside and pet the livestock. I recommend Reed’s Dairy.

Reed’s Dairy is way nice! My wife and I have come here and we enjoyed it so much we brought the in-laws. And they enjoyed it a lot that they want to go each time they visit.
My favorite product is the ‘Brown Cow’ which never really fails. They also have so many options and the workers have always been nice.
Overall, would recommend.

Great service as usual. Came 20 minutes before they closed and they were still willing to dirty a blender for me. You recommend the brown cow but get a small because it is a thicc drink. Also their Italian ice and custard combos are great. Plus they have a free petting zoo on site. Great treats.

Great variety of ice cream flavors with very generous scoops. Provides dine-in and drive-thru services. We ordered a double scoop of Caramel Rocky Road and Pralines & Cream and it was delicious.

We stopped by Reed's dairy on a recommendation when we visited Idaho Falls from Utah. Best decision ever. The ice cream is soooooo good. It sits right next to a dairy farm and there is even a small petting zoo. Totally worth the trip. Staff was friendly and quick service.

Stopped in with my son's family and found the service wonderful. The ladies behind the counter were patient and informative as well as friendly. The ice cream was delicious! Nice atmosphere.

Best ice cream place in town. If you’re in the area, don’t miss the opportunity to obtain a scoop or 2 of the best arguably ice cream in Eastern Idaho. They offer a wide variety of flavors both regular ice cream and Italian Ice & Gelati. They also offer amazing milk shakes, cheese curds, milk, eggs, grilled cheese sandwiches and much more. Will definitely leave your tastebuds wanting more. If you have kids, they will enjoy the petting zoo with the animals and the milk producing cows.

Outstanding Huckleberry ice cream, cheese curds and chocolate milk. I used to love coming here as a young adult until we moved out of state. I brought my children and introduced them today. Reed’s Dairy have expanded to a new building for the ice cream parlor (and sandwiches) along with a small petting zoo. Cow #161 tried to lull me to the fence to see her. Definitely will return when we come through Idaho Falls again.

Working dairy, very popular ice cream shop wirh amazingly creamy, fresh ice creams in many flavors. You van get super fresh milk, eggs, cheese and cheese curds of various flavors as well as tubs of ice cream and fudge. Kind of pricey but worth it though. Has a small petting zoo with calves, goats etc.

New store!! They have expanded to include Italian ice, their own soft serve, and soft drinks. Very large compared to its predecessor, this place has some sick new cow art. Other new additions include restrooms, overhead music, and a drinking fountain that is ideal for the shorter clientele.

If you have any appreciation for the dairy arts this is definitely the best option in the region.
