Great Harvest Bakery & Cafe

We LOVED this place!! Great Harvest is all around me in Utah, but it wasn’t until visiting IF that we finally gave it a try. And SO happy we did!! They have so many good hot & cold sandwich options. We shared a chicken bacon ranch grilled sandwich and a pesto turkey grilled sandwich both on the Asiago sourdough. Both of them were delicious!! They also give you a complimentary bread slice of your choice with every purchase. The cinnamon bread was divine. Next time we are there we want to buy a loaf to make French toast with. I genuinely wanted to try every single baked good again this place, but had to hold back since I don’t tolerate gluten very well (oops). A week later we also got to try the pumpkin chocolate chip bread which was some of the best I’ve had. So many good things I could say about this place. The only downside is it wasn’t the best location to dine in. We got lucky getting a table but I’d recommend getting your food to go if you have somewhere else to eat.

My husband, our puppy and I stopped by Idaho Falls on our roadtrip. This coffee and bakery shop just made our stop better. Nice service and super friendly. The coffee is really really good. Plenty of outdoor seating that my dog loves very much. Mixed berry scone is simply perfect good. Not too sweet and with a lot of berries. And they gave us a slice of cake as well. They literally add a reason for us to stop in Idaho falls. 🥰🥰🥰

Nice atmosphere, tons of great food options, and some pretty good deserts. I ordered the club sandwich on sourdough with bacon. Went with an oatmeal fruit bar and a blue berry cheesecake bar. If you like Panera bread or kneaders you’ll enjoy this place too.

Great place for a delicious sandwich or baked goods. Came by for breakfast sandwiches and ended up buying 5 other baked goods because they looked so good! Everything tasted wonderful, super cute place, and very friendly staff. Was dog friendly, as well. Will come back again.

A great stop for a sandwich, soup, or both. The other goodies in the store are an added bonus. This is bread paradise for us foodies.

I love the store, this was the first time that I had been in this location and found it very nice. The windows had the sun shining in and it felt so wonderful. The bread was even better.

They have a wide variety of sandwiches and soups. We brought a sample baskets with some baked goodies to take to a sick friend, they were feeling much better after eating one of the snickerdoodle cookies.

So if your looking for a wonderful lunch location and haven't been to Great Harvest in a while try the downtown location, its refreshing and good.

Everything here tastes fresh and packed full of flavor. I had a build your own sandwich with chicken, egg, avocado, tomato and cheddar cheese on Dakota grain bread, and it was literal perfection. Less a sandwich and more a work of art. The chicken and rice soup warmed my bones and made me feel like I was sitting in a cozy cabin after a long day of skiing. They gave me a huge hunk of blueberry lemon bread with butter while I waited for my sandwich, and it was soft and delectable and tasty and made me so very happy. The atmosphere is great, very cozy and cottage-esque. The menu was large but not overwhelming. Plenty of bread options to choose from, and the employees were all so nice and accommodating. 11/10.

This place has remained one of my favorite downtown stops for many years. The bread is delicious, the food and coffee are great, and the service is prompt and welcoming.

My favorite restaurant in town! I love getting the chicken pecan salad sandwich. Such a cute shop and always kind service.

Open most of the day (Mon-Sat 7am-6pm). All breads, pastries, etc are made fresh daily and you can have a complementary slice of bread (with butter and/or honey if you choose). Great spot for breakfast, lunch, or just some craving satisfaction 🤣 it does get pretty busy during lunch so I would recommend placing your order ahead of time (either by phone or online) if you are in a hurry as a full panini sandwich combo with soup takes about 15min, but usually no wait for a slice of bread with soup. There also is limited parking and/or seating during lunch rush. The food is all so delicious and the people are very friendly!

Amazing place for every bread lover. Selection is overwhelming. They make cakes, cookies, sandwiches, soups .... and many more. Place was very busy but we didn't have to wait long. Definately will visit again

The baked goods are everything! I love coming to this cafe, sometimes you have to wait long but the cookies and the pumpkin chocolate muffin are totally worth the wait. My kids especially love them. Highly recommended!

Such a great atmosphere and even better food. If soups, sandwiches are your thing, you must take time to stop here. The bakery is a homerun too! Friendly staff and great food, wonderful combination !

Great food and atmosphere. When we had issues with a missing item on our order, it was professionally remedied. Skylar at the front was very kind and deserves a raise. Of all the places we could choose for breakfast, I’m glad it was here.

Wonderful bakery and Cafe. Delicious breads, cookies, bars and quiche. A delightful place to drop in for a bite or for take out. They also provide free samples of their breads, a nice plus. Parking is awkward, the streets are narrow. There is parking next to the building in a lot that is nearly always full. But hey, it's worth it.

When the one in pokey closed down I was so sad. As good as I remember it!

The sandwitches are huge and very fresh made on order. They make all of the bread for their sandwitches, fresh soup made daily, lots of pasteries, cookies,and cupcakes. Large varity of bread. You have to try it.

This is a cute café with nice décor and friendly staff. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. It is more of a bakery than a coffee place, but there weren’t many coffee cafes open on Sunday morning near our hotel, so we decided to give it a try.
My husband got the hot snickerdoodle latte and I tried the iced almond joy mocha, both with extra espresso shots. They were a tad too sweet (what did we expect with names like those, haha), but the flavor of the coffee was good.
We also enjoyed a berry oat bar and the chocolate chip cookies.

This place is similar to whole foods! But much better. This has great sandwiches, cookies, breads, all kinds of goodies to explore! Definitely need to stop on in, I was traveling through!

Absolutely fantastic service, and I don't even have words to describe how DELICIOUS their food is!!!! 100% going to make this a regular stop whenever I'm in town!!

Came here with my grandma. Got the avocado toast because I'd never had it before. Don't know what microgreens are but it came with them and tasted great
