Swagath Indian Grocery and Restaurant

I have come to this store 3 times in last couple of weeks. It has improved quite a lot. Store is clean and smells fresh. Food tastes pretty good. Seems like they are preparing it fresh. Looks like new chef. I tried their Bajji, punugu, masala vada and dosas. Masala vada is delicious. Stuffed bajji was good once and one time it was undercooked (probably one time thing).their upma dosa is very good but they have canceled this order couple of times. If you like Andhra style vegetarian food, give it a try.

There is a South Indian breakfast buffet here on weekends (as of Jan 2023). Menu items include a sweet dish, idli, mini dosa, chutney, sambar, poori, Aloo masala, Upma, pongal, vadai, bonda, variety rice, raitha, curd rice and masala tea. Good variety of dishes for an affordable cost of 15$.

I always get curry leaves from Swagath grocery. It's in a big zip lock packet for $10. Last time when I went there, only small curry leaves packets were available. So when I asked the front desk person, he mentioned that it's not available right now, but he was kind enough to say that they have received the stock and yet to split in zip lock packets. Also without further due he went in and brought me curry leaves equivalent to a big zip lock bag. So kind.

Loved their hot snacks & sweets on the go. They have a wide variety of Indian stuff. I really picked a lot of items today & was super excited seeing my favorite Indian biscuits & savories.

They sell best really raw honey from Walla Walla !! 10 Stars!! Plus really good fresh food. Owners really friendly.

Always love this place, hassle free . Has most of the items we need at a great price. Last time we went to Swagat, the girl at the billing counter made a smiley for my daughter on the receipt, she loved it and keeps asking me when are we going to Swagat again.

Best affordable Andhra food in Redmond/Bellevue.

Most of the Indian restaurants give paneer curries or potato curries in thali which is typically not good for your stomach if you eat everyday.

Swagath is the only Indian restaurant in the neighborhood which gives at-least one fresh vegetable (non-paneer/aloo) curry, sometimes two vegetable curries everyday in thali.

The food is affordable authentic and reminds me of my mother’s cooking. I survived almost 2-3 months without cooking, thanks to them.

One of my favorite South Indian food place. Staff is polite and the food is great. It's not a fancy place so not good enough for a date night. It has become my regular place for dosa, idli, and upma. Gonna try more items from the menu and I'm confident that everything will be as delicious.

Veggies are usually fresh here. We got a few items that are usually not found in other Indian stores around here.The mirchi bajji (with stuffing) and Jalebi here are very well made. We haven't yet tried their curries but am gonna make this place my regular grocery store.

We ordered a bunch of things for lunch, vada - was very crisp and delicious, if you do not like hot food, this might be a bit spicy due to the green chillis used. The special thali was what you would expect, flavorful sambar, rasam and condiments. Finally the parotta kurma , kurma was delicious but the parotta was a bit too crispy for me. Overall, we really enjoyed the food. For folks who might not tolerate a lot of heat, check with Swagat before you order!

I was impressed with the cleanliness and organization of items in the store. Items and produce are fresh, and prices are significantly lower compared to other stores in this area.
And my overall experience shopping at Swagath has been nothing but great. People at the counters very responsive and respectful.

What not, you get everything Indian masala, items for fast frozen chapati paratha readymade vegetarian dishes, milk, yoghurt, jaggery, important vegetables of purely indian taste Along with a small restraint serving u samosa Vada pakistan Biryani Puri...Almost all routine yummy items of indian taste. I like this place since I am in US. I always shop groceries from here. The owners are super friendly, you will get special offers on occasions. I have enjoyed discounts over the years. Five stars for service, they are quick , no waiting lines. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Love the samosas here. It is a nice Indian grocery store along with a restaurant in the back. We also tried the dosa batter from there and it was delicious.

Ordered groceries from swagath , quality of the all vegetables are really good, they do all lot of indian stuff.

Samosas are the best in Seattle. Gongura and ulava charu birayani are awesome. Curries are authentic South Indian style.
