RNK Running and Walking Castle Rock

My experience here couldn't have been better! The staff took a lot of time to analyze my foot individually to give the best recommendations. I work in healthcare and have been having pain with prolonged standing, and they had a great selection and expert advice. The first pair I picked didn't feel great my first day at work and they still let me return them despite having worn them already to exchange for the other pair I liked during my initial visit, and these are just perfect! No pushy sales tactics, just personalized analysis and recommendations, great return policy, and genuinely great small business!

Excellent experience both times I've come in, Andy and folks have been attentive and super helpful in picking out the proper shoes and attire for whatever your ambulation preference, whether it's running in the snow or walking on the treadmill. I got some Hoka trail shoes that they recommended and plowed through snow drifts with warm, dry feet the entire time.

One of the best. They know their stuff, the service is fantastic and the prices are fair. I love the knowledge and personalized fit they bring. You know you are walking away with the right shoe.

Great store for running shoes! They actually get you on the treadmill and find the best shoe that fits your needs and bring out many options for you to try. Highly recommend!

I am thrilled with the customer service from this store. Above and beyond! We spent an hour trying on different shoes to get the right fit for my running up and over closing time. Never once rushed. Multiple trips to the treadmill and finally decided on the perfect shoe! Not to mention a lot of knowledgeable information was shared on fit and running! Turns out I’ve been wearing the completely wrong shoes for my feet. I can’t wait to try these out. Can’t thank you enough!!!! Will be purchasing all my running gear locally from now on.

Decided to properly take care of my feet instead of always trying to buy shoes online (it had been years since I'd gotten a proper fitting) and wanted to support a local business. So glad I went to RNK! John was super friendly and helpful, and Trent came by to check on me a couple of times as well with some humor and the impression he genuinely cared. The store was absolutely packed, but John didn't make me feel rushed at all and took his time grabbing far more shoes for me to try than I ever would have asked for, analyzed my gait and making sure I was getting just the right pair. Seeing the community connection and experiencing the great service, I will absolutely be back at RNK next time I need shoes for the trail or road!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. It's been nearly 5 months since I came in to buy some running shoes and I've been meaning to write this review since then. I had an exceptional experience here. Such kind and caring staff who really know what they're talking about. I wish I remembered the name of the man that helped me. He taught me a new way to tie my shows to avoid pressure points and had me record it on my phone so I could do it myself later on. So caring and overall incredible service.

Lived in the area for a little over 2 years and wasn't aware of this store in downtown CR, but I'm glad I found it. Great selection of running gear with friendly staff. Amy was extremely knowledgeable and showed an interest in helping find the right shoe for my running style and comfort needed.

Andy gave me the best customer service and overall experience when getting my new running shoes and hiking boots. Spent quality time with me to ensure everything was a great fit and was well educated and able to answer all my questions. Super impressed by his customer service and will definitely make this my go to place just cause of him.

I've never had a better experience at any shoe store. Before settling on my final selection, I visited RNK three times. I was greeted and assisted by friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff, including one of the owners. My questions and concerns were heard and addressed with patience, and I never felt rushed through the process. The shoes I purchased have performed to my expectations and have been helpful in correcting issues that had been causing considerable pain in both feet. I would HIGHLY recommend RNK if you are in the hunt for quality products and exceptional service.

Omgoodness! Talk about amazing customer service! I called Trent to seek out a shoe for my husband - who happens to have "unicorn" feet (super difficult to find a shoe that actually fits him). Trent told us to come in, and to bring any shoes my husband has had some success with. We did.

Trent literally spent 2 hours with us! He even helped me with my recent foot/shoe issues!

When looking for a running shoe store, I found this store was close to home. The reviews on Google were great so it was my first and only stop. The selection and service here could not be any better. Kelli was very knowledgeable and patient and had me try on about 10 different pairs of shoes until I ended up in a pair that feel like they were designed for my feet. Being able to run on the treadmill in the store with each pair I tried on was very helpful. There is nothing I would change about my experience.

Andy was terrific! New to running and wanted to spend the time & money investing in a good pair of shoes. Andy was very knowledgeable and receptive to my feedback. Customer for life!

Trent and Jackie, my husband and I will be back when we need shoes (or the halo yoga pants)! We could not have asked for better service! You take customer service to a whole other level. You examined our feet and walked us through probably every shoe in the store to find what met our needs. We have been asked, “how does it feel?” about shoes and never knew the difference. I finally have workout/running shoes that work for me! My husband has feet issues and finally knows shoes that work for him! I cannot thank you enough for the hours you both spent to get us the right match. This is the greatest store!

The staff here is great - patient and informative. Cordie took the time to listen to my needs and worked with me to find a shoe that fit perfectly. These people are awesome! Helped my son and I get geared up the for the summer. They have a treadmill, video you foot fall for evaluation, quite a few different brand to try, and are very patient. Between the the two of us we must have tried 10 or 12 different pairs of shoes. Definitely check them out!

I went to this store after purchasing some shoes elsewhere yhat killed my feet for running. Chris helped me try to find a better option and let me know to try them for a week or 2 and see how it goes. I had some similar issues and took the new ones back as he suggested. We tried multiple other options and settled on a new pair. Went for a run this morning and no pain and felt great. Thank's Chris for the great service and letting me exchange.

I worked with Trent at RNK (I'm pretty sure that was his name!!). I came in an hour before close and got individualized attention to try and find a shoe for my particular foot issue. I'm not a runner, but Trent said they serve all kinds of people with different shoe needs. Trent was very knowledgeable about feet and wanted me to leave with the best possible shoe. He pulled out all the shoes he could think of that would accommodate the width of my foot, and I was in need of a roomy toe box so he tried to find those as well! We landed on a pair! Tomorrow is my first day wearing them to work, and I'm hoping they help - he assured me if something wasn't quite right about them I could call them and work something out to get the right shoe for me.
