Bishops' Storehouse

It's hard to rate a charitable food place. They do valuable work and seem to get the work done efficiently. All of those that I have dealt with are friendly. I go here maybe 4 times a year for various projects.

They greet you pleasantly, take your temp and escort you to the area where #10 cans and cases of many types of dry food goods. Prices are much more reasonable than most prepper sites. There are carts on which to put your selections and even a very clean, handicap-accessable toilet. You do not have to be LDS to buy here. It is around the back of a charity.

It was fun packaging up and sticking labels on pintos to be donated to the local food banks. Those kindly Morman folks take their food storage and distribution to the greater Tucson very seriously. I accompanies,my first new friend here in Tucson after parachuting into the valley while running from Hurricane Irma on the east coast. This lifelong 68 year old Catholic appreciated the incredible kindnesses of my still BFF in helping me get settled after arriving with a couple of suitcases and my now deceased companion chihuahua. The memory warms my heart that strangers helped me in my hour of need.

Amazing folks! It's not supposed to be open to the public, but they're kind enough to help when they can.

It's an LDS food bank. It helps all families regardless. Some foods are even for sale for those who just like the products. You'll never buy better granola!!!

You must be a Mormon to use it. Normally well stocked with the basics to help a family in times of need.

Every time I go they are so sweet and very helpful.

Quick shopping with alot of good food takes less than a hlf hr to get done and you are out
