Big Lots

I had the pleasure of working with Irma. She was very personalable and knowledgeable about my choice of furniture pieces. She gave me a name... Travis, who is an independent contractor. He delivered and set up everything. He even took the recycling away. PLEASE remember to tip if you can. He and his worker deserved it!!! The sofa/loveseat and the fireplace came from Big Lots

I recently visited this store and had the pleasure of interacting with the assistant store manager Jessica. She is so kind and went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. This lady is just amazing. I told her what I needed (sheer curtain panels) and she took the time to not only help me, but went above and beyond to make sure that there weren’t any extras in the back that had not made it out to the customer area. I needed 6 panels and they only had 2. She searched and couldn’t find any more. That right there was more than most people would do. But she went even further and searched all the stores in the system within 100 mile radius. But she didn’t stop there. She went so far as to call the stores that showed in her system to have them in stock and double checked with them that they did indeed have them before I drove all the way to the other stores (I had to go to 2 more stores to get all the panels I needed). And the whole time she was being called by other workers to the register and answering questions they had, and helping another customer, and it seemed like she was being pulled in 100 different directions. But she juggled it all so gracefully and still took the time to help me and I was just blown away. If you are ever in this store, ask for Jessica, you will definitely be taken care of! I will visit this store from now on because of her! Thanks Jessica, see you soon!

I love this place. I should not be allowed to go there alone with money during Christmas. It's where I buy all my Christmas lights, decor, and gifts. It's great all year round though. They have furniture, clothes, food, and more.

This place has great deals and great coupons. I went in to do some last-minute Christmas shopping and they had everything 40% off and I had a 20% off coupon. Sign up for their coupons. It pays off.

Very Nice environment everything is easy to find also good customers service

I frequent this location fairly often (even though I don’t like to) since it is right around the corner from my house. I have experienced pretty bad customer service here so my expectations are low for this store. I had an experience a couple weeks ago that caught me off guard though. I was near the back of the store when a young lady came through the double doors from the back. She had several items in her hands and seemed to be in a hurry. I was looking for curtains for my guest bedroom and I couldn’t find any that were in my price range. I was surprised when this young lady stopped and said “Are you finding everything Ok? I feel like you need some help”. First of all, that is the first time ANYONE has ever asked me if I need help in that store. Second of all, kudos to her for being able to identify a consumer that needs assistance without them saying a word to her. I told her yes I did need some help. She told me she was helping another customer and stressed that she would be back as soon as she was finished with them. A couple minutes went by and I could see that she was helping a couple nearby. They were requesting something that was in the back, and as she went by me once again, she let me know she had not forgotten about me and she would be right with me. Another minute or two and she came up to me, smiled, told me her name (Jessica) and asked how she could help. She treated me with such respect and enthusiasm that I forgot that I was at a store that I usually dreaded going to. Not only did she help me find curtains that were on clearance, she also helped me pick out a new comforter and sheet set for my guest bedroom. I had not planned on buying bedding, but her customer service was so outstanding, that I decided to make the purchases. I asked her if she was new and she told me she was the new Assistant Manager. I don’t usually leave long reviews, but I had to give a shout out to Jessica for going above and beyond and being so friendly. I also would like to give a shout out to HR for hiring such an enthusiastic young woman. She turned a reluctant customer into an eager visitor. She greets me by name every time she sees me now and asks “Ms Brenda, you doing ok today? You need any help?” Her attitude is contagious and I love going to this location now! Brilliant move by HR getting this young lady onboard!

I'm and Interior Designer...I came to town to complete the Furnishings phase of the Pool design at my parents home. My parents were reluctantly prepared to invest $10,000 in their patios and pool area. So many pieces to buy. They were blown away when I told them, I wanted to take them into Big Lots...that we can get everything we need in one store and save them thousands of dollars...They loved everything!! It was a treat and everything is so comfortable, they even have gorgeous Ceramic Garden Pots. ...Irma's in the Furniture department wrang up the entire sale, she was helpful, patient and made us feel like we were important...Our sale was over $4700...Big Lots designers I commend you. We created an amazing retreat in three areas and decorated 5 areas all together.

I would recommend " Big Lots " time and time again for your Outdoor Living Spaces... ( 1 being the best - and 5 worst)

Almost always find a bargain here!

Bought a pool for a great deal but when I got there the box was busted and the lady manager said if anything was messed up to let her know and she’d discount it for me. So I called after finding out two legs was missing to the frame and spoke with Andre another manager and he was super helpful and discounted it for me without any issues. Really nice people managing this place that’s what’s up because good customer service is hard to come by these days. Keep up the great work you guys and I will be back to shop more here at this location. Now Burleson double charged me so hopefully their management is up to par with Arlington green oaks and they fix their mistake as quickly as Andre did.

I haven't been in this store for Years! I was pleasantly surprised with cleanliness, layout, products & prices. I had fun shopping but the biggest impact was the staff. It was nice to be "asked" if I needed help, needed a cart, lol! I'm laughing because too many employees @ stores look away from you, pretend they don't see you. The Grren Oaks/ I-20 store was remodeled several years ago and is very well- organized. They have displayed a plethora of goods in a medium sized store. Good sales, friendly staff. Very competitive pricing.

Always find great deals

The Green Oaks Big Lots has improved about 599%! Clean, well organized and very attractive. I don't know who got ahold of this place but they need a commendation. But the best thing was in there was Nancy. Talk about fun . I'll go back just to visit with her. If I had a business I would steal her. Anyway, if u haven't been here lately, go back. Whereas before I felt like I was in a warehouse of seconds, I felt like I was in just a store with great prices. Be careful though. Some of the stuff is of inferior quality. Oh well. I'd rather go here than Tuesday Morning. 1 more thing- they have some great Halloween stuff. There's not much of it but it's super cool.

Very nice clerk went about 5 different spots to locate an item that I wanted. When I misplaced my receipt, the checker remembered me and exchanged my item for another with the price difference. Really nice employees here.
Tricky parking lot. Go to the southwest corner. That has a traffic light for easy exit.

I spent 2hrs in Big Lots buying furniture. I bought a sofa and am very happy with the selection. In addition, bought a twin mattress, bedding and shelving unit. The customer service was great, they were patient with me, checked on what was in stock, set up account, and loaded everything in my car. That's why this is my 4th purchase and why I'll be back for more. I 💕 Big Lots.

The whole crew is just as friendly as can be. Ms. Rhonda the cashier is awesome! It's my mid-week stop-n-shop and a good place to let my parents stretch their legs. Everyone at Big Lots knows them and loves 'em.. 👍

This salon is fabulous Christina makes you feel like a celebrity when you're there it's beautiful inside loving it. Very prompt and polite service caring. I'm a senior citizen and it's hard to get someone that cares about your hair.

It was my first time at that Big Lots location. My shopping experience was great. The cashier was really nice. I bought a Christmas tree and other stuff for Christmas. My Mom and I had a great time. I will definitely go back to shop there. 😃

I'll be honest & say I hadn't visited a big lot in about 5 years, was I ever pleasantly surprised. So many things @ great prices!! I was in there about an hour walking around of course getting a lot of things that I were not on my radar before I went in there!! There's furniture, kitchen items, bathroom items, toiletry items, toys anything that you need for your pets, bowls toys, leashes, collars!! The prices we're extremely reasonable & certainly a lot cheaper than other places!!

Well run store and had a great product supply. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Don't typically buy dry goods from here but their unique selection will bring me back in!
