Clark Oil #31

Nice and clean store, baby changing stations and clean restrooms right off the highway. Great selection inside, awesome fountain drink assortment, a deli and roller grill items for grab and go. Also a Shell station so I save 5 cents per gallon when I fill up!

I am an employee of Clarks 31. I absolutely treasure working here. The employees all work as a team for the most part. The manager is a God send!! Couldnt ask for a better team to be apart of!!

I have bought food items from this store and have found them to be old or just plain bad. They do not keep up with old to new stock. Front them shelves and you would know!

Just went to buy Lotto and the girl behind the counter told me she wasn't doing lotto tonight. I asked why and she replied that there wasn't anybody else to help her. At that moment there was one other person in the store and they weren't ready to check out. If you offer lotto, then sell it. If you don't like your SERVICE station job, then quit. Stop being lazy and rude. This is not the first time I've been in this store and the cashiers were rude and arguing with each other to the point they weren't even checking people out and the line was out the door. There needs to be some supervision at this place because clearly your personel are a joke.

Employees have zero customer service, cigarette prices are displayed with 2 pack deals and they do not honor the prices. If you dislike your job that much do us all a favor a quit and find work that is more suitable to you. Management needs to be more accountable for employees. They don’t even deserve a 1 star.

This has to be The worst experience I have had when asking for a price for a product I wanted to purchase. I went in this morning to buy some chicken from the hot bar in this establishment. The girl behind the counter, who is usually very nice, was rude and obtuse and really needs a course in Customer Service. I asked for the price and the response was that the prices have recently increased. At this time I was the only customer at the front. I asked if there was a way to check the price please? The response was, "I don't know what the price is because they increased the prices". The tone was extremely rude, as if I offended her for asking for a price. Maybe place a sign? Maybe press the code key on the register? Maybe ask someone else? Instead I gad to ask the cashier to the left of her for a price which she gave me easily. The girl behind the hot bar snapped attitude to the cashier and began taking the tongs and ripping into the food I had ordered. I was still going to purchase until I told her that I was sorry that she was having a bad day. At that she responded so rudely and so snidely, "Oh! I am having a good day!". That was it. I asked for corporate and then still had to call another store for the correct number. I do not appreciate my purchses especially food being thrown at me. It disgusts me that I still have had no response from management. GREAT JOB CLARK'S!!!

The gasoline has water in it. Just pulled 3/4 of a gallon of water out of my gas tank. Blown head gasket and new cylinder head had to be replaced on my fairly new truck. I spent a grand on parts alone fixing my truck. The guys at the parts store nearby confirmed that we weren't the only ones that have complaints about this location on Cedar Lake Rd. If you like your ride and hate costly repairs then do yourself a favor and skip getting gas here.
