Salmonberry Books

This is THEE cutest little shop in downtown for sure.
The gal behind the counter (owner?) was super helpful and very sweet as she joked with my teenage daughter and I about current events and celebrities and was hip to what my daughter was looking for.
There was a huge assortment of books and subjects for being a small store and had titles and authors I hadn't heard of and a small assortment of albums as well!
Very cool bookstore. So glad we went.

I love this little gem of a bookstore in downtown Port Orchard. Thoughtfully curated books, graphic novels, artwork, and records from the couple of laid-back tastemakers who own it. A must-go in PO!

Really great selection, deep on local interests, fiction, mystery and fantasy & scifi. Curated collection, esp if you're looking for female, POC, queer authors, and great recommendations. Fun selection of prints, stickers, and vinyl also!

Just a little room but, boy, do they pack in the books! Owner helped me find the right gift book for my mystery-reading friend. Fun things tucked in around the store- nice place!

For such a small space, Salmonberry has an impressive selection of books, vinyl, stickers, (Who doesn't love cute stickers?) and cards. I was particularly excited to see the generous graphic novel section and lots of queer representation on the shelves. And of course, Lizzie is delightful and can order anything for you. (Please order books from small businesses like this, not Amazon!)

If you're nearby, I highly recommend popping into the market to give Salmonberry Books a browse.

Don't let the size fool you, this little bookstore has a huge selection of books. If she doesn't have what you want, she can get it ordered. Very fast turn around. Definitely worth a look!

Love love love! I was speechless at the selection of books there, and the attendant was so nice and got to know me a little, and was recommending books to me, and she ordered a book for me online that I could pick up a few days later! Amazing experience

Cute little bookstore, if they don't have it they can order it in record time. New books each Tuesday. Glad to support local here in Port Orchard.
