This place is awesome! Very comfortable and open feel with a large inventory of reading material. One of the larger bookstores I have seen still in existence. What a wonderful experience to go through physical reading material for once instead of being bound by internet material. There's a nice coffee lounge by Starbucks within the facility as well. It makes for a nice reading and meeting location. The mall that it is located within is a special place to be in Calabasas as well. It is a Rick Caruso development and there's many other fine and high and shops nearby. The restaurants in the area are fabulous also. It's a great place to take kids and spend an afternoon of shopping and lounging around. Be sure to check out all of the turtles at the water feature. There's plenty of parking. It has easy access to the 101 freeway.

Very wide selection of books. I appreciate the organization of the store. I went on a Sunday night and there were plenty of people there shopping, reading, and hanging out. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I picked up some books for Christmas gifts.

Great open store with tons of books, magazines, calendars, gifts, cards, themed memorabilia, unique stationary, etc. Clean restrooms located on first floor on the right sure past Starbucks. They also have a refillable water bottle station.

What's not to love about Barnes and Noble? Just the waft of ink and paper when you walk in the door tingles your brain a bit. Then the scent of fresh brewed coffee makes you feel right at home. As convenient as online retailers can be, it can't beat the kinesthetic quality of a brick and mortar institution that brings people together in search of something interesting to read and experience.

One of the best bookstores, two floors with an in-house Starbucks cafe. Offers plenty of reading space with separate sections for kids, teenagers, business, travel and more books. Has clean restrooms on the first level.

On Weekends there are kid reading sessions which are a hit with the kids. The staff is super friendly. The annual membershop is $25 bit so worth it.

This bookstore has everything you’re looking for and customer service that is 5 ⭐‘s without question!!! Mike R at the desk saved this review!!! I came in with my wife and she needed to use the washroom. I decided to use the mens room as well, but there was an “out of service” sign on the door. I peeked in to see and sure enough, the washroom was fully functional(except 1 urinal). I ended up using the other one(after testing to make sure it worked). The store was pretty busy and had several men, turned away by the sign. All of which, were pretty unhappy, having to leave the store to find another washroom in the plaza. I brought this to the attention of Mike at the customer service desk. He handled my complaint like a pro!!! After speaking with him for a few minutes, I watched how he interacted with several other customers. His professionalism erased any negative thought in my mind. I then spoke with a manager regarding the washroom. She informed m that the contractor responsible for the repair in the washroom, never told anyone he was finished and therefore, they did not know the sign could be removed. She immediately took action to resolve any further problems this could cause and apologized for any inconvenience. Conflict resolution is flawless here! Just like the rest of the store and staff!!!

B&N has always been my nostalgic destination for books and fun. Glad to come across one today. It is fun to walk around, flip a couple books and find new bargains. There are many toys and books for only $1-3!!

Barnes and Nobles has always been an amazing place to be. Endless books and a great atmosphere as always. We have to keep supporting these places for our generations to come. I've been coming here since I was a kid and it is still the same. Also they price match for the online store so if you see something that is more expensive in their store they will price match with their own online store 🪩🪩🪩

This is a two-story bookstore that has thousands of book inventory so you could spend hours in here it was totally awesome

One of the last great bookstores we have. The best one being the one in LA (not a Barnes) that is closeby to Grand central mkt. They have a lot of good sales here. I love browsing through their nonfiction and cookbook offerings. Always pick up a new piece every time I go, along with a coffee from the in-house Starbucks. This barnes is located in the Calabasas Commons so there is plenty of parking. And places to eat around as well, including more budget friendly options such as Fresh Brothers pizza. Can easily kill a whole afternoon at thr Commons with the Barnes, the vibe and the food

Fabulous book shop and its huge too. Plenty of ranges and other items. Very much like the British ones we have in the UK, shame USA doesn't have many. However glad my hubby went here and managed to find what he was after. I however enjoyed the instore cafe, whichwas also reasonably priced.

I cannot stress enough the fact that the staff there were so extremely helpful. They direct me to the right place and actually found the book I was looking in like a minute it's a great place, to spend some time reading and browsing have a coffee and be social with nice friendly staff.
