Trails are incredible. Modelo trail has nice steep trails with some up and downs. Also has some some smooth, mostly levels trails like Chesebro trail. You can take Chesebro trail and can connect you to trail leading to lost hills or Bell Canyon. Still learning some of the trails, but many ways one can go. This spring has been particularly incredible with the green environment.

Absolutely stunning! I have been to many different trails in southern California but this trail is exceptionally beautiful. Hills are all green covered with yellow flowers. Is a popular trail for bikers of all level. Highly recommended!

Now open during the pandemic. Hiked on Saturday and there was parking at all the lots from 830 when we arrived to 1130 when we left. Tons of wildflowers still blooming. Oak trees are doing great with shade along the trail. We went as far as the sulphur springs without problems. Have a mask with you, but we were never within 100 feet of another hiker. Passed by a lot of families on bicycles who were having a great time.

What a fantastic experience mountain biking through a few of the trails in Cheeseboro Canyon with my uncle. Although the Woolsey fire had caused much destruction to the bridge and surrounding areas, the trails were reopened. The views were stunning and it was quiet despite the Ventura Fwy not too far away. I particularly enjoyed seeing the dog walkers and horseback riders as we whizzed by.

Relatively easy trails rewarded with beautiful panaramic views. Tall, grasses that can get tight at points. Be sure to carry repellant or check for ticks after.

The hills were a sea of green and yellow. I must have missed the poppy's as I didn't see any. I saw hikers , I saw people on mountain bikes and I saw a young lady riding her horse. I'm assuming all 3 are encouraged. Also on the way up there I noticed the Fran Pavely Meadow. It was a small corner of the canyon but it had a grassy area with some probably very old Oak trees. It wasn't hard to see why it was protected. Mrs Pavely was my science teacher back in Middle school in Moorpark in the 80's. I had no idea she had a Meadow named for her but it seems fitting she was a great teacher.

Rolling hills clothed with Yellow mustard flowers and high blue sky with cumulus as well as some good friends, wonderful time to refresh body, soul and spirit. It is the right time to visit. 👍👍👍

Got lost biking here but it was beautiful enough that I didn't mind. Wouldn't recommend bikes for some sections but great for hikers.

It burned black to the core yet returned in spring with a high yellow mustard superbloom. This place changes and is amazing.

Went on an amazing mountain bike ride. The ride was more technical now than years past due to fire and rain. Still a fun time in a beautiful place. Just try not to go on the weekends, too crowded. But if that is your only option, I say brave the crowds. Great for hiking too. Have fun

We hike here almost every weekend. Nice trails and respectful bikers and equestrians.

Some of the best mountain bike riding in the area. Lots of single track and fire road. You can loop into the Ahmason Ranch area, link up to trails in Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley and get an all day ride and pick up 3K or more of elevation gain if you'd like. Great stuff for all skill and fitness levels.

I have been using this trail system for many years now. The trails are always maintained properly and the parking is good. Beautiful views from the ridge line and a fair amount of shade. Make sure to bring water during the summer months.

The upper part of the park has some great single track trails for mountain biking. It can be crowded on the weekends and the fact that it is a multi-use trail sometimes creates issues as you have hikers, bikers and horse people all crammed onto the same trails.

Nice area with loops of trails to take. All burned down after the fire but lots of fresh green grass after a rain. I went the day after a rain and the trails are super duper muddy and that mud is like glue. So might want to let things dry out a bit first
