Safeway

A sleek and modern store featuring a wide selection of foods. This is easily my first or second favorite Safeway on the island. The outside of the store is nice as well, since it is nestled within Manoa Marketplace. Also it is open 24 hours so I can stop by at any time of day.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!! Safeway has every kind of rose you could possibly want for your mother! The florist employees are so gracious and will make what you want!

Love to shop at Safeway! The cashiers are very courteous and helpful. The food has a great quality!

Called the bakery department to order a custom cake, only asking them to decorate a knee on the cake with "congratulations", and they did not disappoint. My classmate's broken knee was well celebrated. #happyakneeversary

Good store. Pricing is slightly higher than the competitors. Shelves are always stocked and seldom run out of items. Staff are friendly and efficient. Customers who shop here seem to be regular locals who live in the area and are courteous and patient. They also are helpful in locating items others may need.

Went to look for low sugar icecream . They have a great selection!!! I stood in line for the self check out. So glad they expanded the self check out section!!!! Line moved fast.

I love Safeway. Everything I buy is almost always on sale. They have lots of organics. I particularly like this location because it's easy to park and there are a lot of small food and coffee vendors I like. The folks who work at Safeway are nice and helpful, too.

I stopped by today to pick up supplies for a possible hurricane set to hit the islands in the next day or two. To my surprise, they had everything I wanted, though in some cases the shelves were a bit bare. Pretty impressive. I found parking easily and was in and out in no time even though I bought a ton of stuff. Clerks were friendly considering the store was getting really busy when I left. I really love Safeway. 😎

One if my favorite grocery store to shop! Out of my way but worth the trip...super nice people work there and it just a delight. Two small issues, the drown the produce so good luck with shelf life, better off at the Times Grocery store or Down to Earth, secondly it's freezing in the store so don't forget you sweater and gloves!

The Manoa Safeway is a nice store with a small town store feel. The staff almost always makes you feel like family and make sure that they help you look for what you need if you can't immediately find what you're looking for. They are hit or miss with the availability of items on sale but sometimes it's simply that they sold out. Overall, a comfortable experience and you never feel any rush to get out.

Staff are really friendly and helpful. They have consistently been so since at least 2005 when I started shopping here. Great selection; clean store; not cheap but top class grocery store!

Safeway stores in Hawaii are amazingly good! The one back home in the Mid-Atlantic are mostly trashy and gross. But not the ones here!

Fresh, not rotting or rotten, produce. Clean shelves, which is a nice change.

The few times I’ve been to this location, employees have been helpful and not rude.

Floors could use some TLC, but that is truly the only gripe I could find regarding this store location.

Manoa Safeway is the best place to find sale items that are sold out at other Honolulu stores. I will head there whenever the other town stores run out of sale items. The fresh made sushi there is better than others and on $5 Friday it's a great deal.

I enjoy having a Safeway so close to home that always has what I need. There is such a wide variety of items and I am surprised to almost always find what I need. The staff is friendly and provides great service.

Delightful little deli. Always get my black Forrest ham here. Manager Shannon always remembers my name . Sweet young lady. Live the vibe of the deli.

This is a great Safeway. Employees are super friendly and everything is always well stocked and organized.

I like the Safeway better than the one on Kapahulu they actually have the $5 deals late into the day.
