River Street Liquor & Cigars

The guys that run the store are awesome. I drove over an hour and a half to get there and they were really helpful. I was on a hunt for a single malt scotch that was aged 12 years or older and they had it. I ended up buying more than what I was looking and going for. I will definitely go back again but this time I’m going to hang around in the area for a while. They reminded me of stores in VA where I’m from because of the cobblestone streets.

Dom our cashier really went above the bar with a great attitude and wonderful service!!! Dom assisted us with recommendations on different products and really put a hometown feel to our experience Thank you for hiring such great staff!!

John and Dom had amazing customer service. Very knowledgeable and helpful with my selection for mixed drinks. I’ll will definitely be back.

Cool little store. Coolers full of singles. We didn’t know the laws about open drinking in Savannah so the staff provides you with a metal solo cup. Definitely will make this my go to next time I’m in town. Staff was also great.

Awesome place! Bought 2 bottles of Pinot Noir and they gave us free aluminum cups. Great place great people.

We was hired to provide floor services and all the staff was awesome and so friendly with everyone walking in. They also have a clean and fully stocked store. The best of all they answered all my questions on a good cigar and helped me with a great selection of bourbon and cigars

The guys were pleasant and helpful. Seems like Dom was more of the cigar aficionado. He helped me to select several cigars. Pleased with the first one so far. Would definitely recommend.

Don and John are Awesome!!! We were down for the weekend and the treatment was Great. They have every freakn thing in this store. The cigar case was the Best. They had every alcoholic beverages to mention. The prices are Awesome.

River Street Liquor is a perfect addition to the fun of River Street! The atmosphere of the shop is so inviting and all of the employees are so friendly and helpful, especially Kimberly! I love coming in to get a drink to enjoy while strolling around River Street and I think it’s awesome they provide a souvenir cup to use while doing so! Definitely will be coming back and telling all my friends about this place!

Kimbe and John were outstanding, as soon as I entered the store the customer service from these two were outstanding. They helped me pick out many great items, and I will definitely be back. It Is now my favorite store to buy my drinks from. If you are looking to find what you need, ask for these two they will get you set!

The staff is as friendly as they are knowledgeable, but their patience is truly unparalleled. The location means dealing with inebriated tourists, yet as a local denison and semi frequent shopper, I have never noticed the staff display anything but top notch customer service even when dealing with particularly trying customers! 10/10 would recommend!!!

Love this place! Every time I go to Savannah, it’s my first stop due to their amazing and huge collection with a little bit of everything possible, even little snacks. They make it easy to grab a drink of your choice and even give you a cup to drink it while walking along the river. My friend couldn’t find cutwater in any supermarket we looked in but I knew this place had them.

My favorite thing about this place was that I walked around and looked for 10 minutes and the cashier didn't say A WORD to me, he barely looked up at me. I love that I wasn't welcomed with some "Corporate" greeting. Once I found a bottle I was interested in and asked a question this dude became an effing encyclopedia of what was in his store. The cigar he recommended was good AF too for $10

I went in a few days ago looking for a very specific and hard to find bottle, Kimberly was working and helped me look through the entire store until we found what I needed. I have been to lots of different stores and Kimberly was hands down the nicest and most helpful person I have ever had help me. I will never go to another store!

This place is super awesome!! Kimberly was so sweet and John made me feel very welcome. I ended up loving the recommendations they gave me. Overall, this is a great place to stop and I will definitely be returning!!

We are locals and love to stop here a few times a week as we take our dog on long walks! Free cup with ice cold drinks! Wine, beer and canned mixed cocktails. Also… dog friendly! Always clean, friendly and river st classy. Cheers! Enjoy!

Awesome and friendly place! The staff is so nice and helpful, especially Kimberly! If you’re on River Street, I definitely recommend stopping by this liquor store! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
