this place is crazy, and the people are savage to find stuff. must have gloves, but if you don't mind digging, waiting and spending at least 4 hours, there are vintage & newer goods to be found. i think this place is awesome

It's a great way to shop for a big family. Yes you have to search through bins and look at sizes, but you really do find really cute clothing.

Fantastic experience for the Goodwill aficionado. Bin diving at its finest. Use gloves and have hand sanitizer ready. Prices are by the pound. Great values. Shoppers are friendly. I loved it!

I’m visiting Dayton for work and because I’m a thrifting at heart, the first I thing did when I arrived was google Goodwill outlets near me. I love this outlet store, went at least 3 times…great finds if you’re patient and don’t mind going thru the bins. The clothing bins aren’t packed sky high and I’m ok with that. I was able to find an entire wardrobe for my moms cruise, a rabbit fur jacket with the tags still on it, jeans, shirts, coats, sandals, all in pristine condition. I did not encounter any rudeness from the staff or other customers, just the opposite. Everyone was friendly, courteous, and cooperative…not pushing or shoving. The prices hands down are the best part of the deal. I would definitely recommend the Dayton Goodwill Outlet.

Love the Binz which is what me and my wife call this place, or alternatively the "snatch and grab" in jest, I'll give this place 5 stars because the staff is for the most part pretty good, however I feel they allow way to many ebay sellers and in general scalpers into this place, habitually I see carts stacked high with shoes and clothes, also they need to do away with letting people keep carts on the sides of the walls, again I feel a practice that's just blatant hoarding, other than that, great place and you can find some stellar stuff, I should know; I cleaned their warehouse when I was a goodwill contractor.

As I'm going through the previous reviews, I've noticed some negatives regarding the manners of customers, which I find to be unfair. No business should suffer bad reviews because of things out of their control like the attitude of patrons or the brand names of the DONATED merchandise up for grabs. With that being said, I've always had a great experience with staff, cashiers, and fellow treasure hunters alike. They rotate bins often, work hard to keep the place as clean and organized as possible. Additionally, I've had more pleasant experiences than negative, and will continue to shop here often.Happy Hunting :)

I just want to respond to a post on here. These stores must stop taking donations at a certain time. Donations must end 30 minutes prior to store closing. Why? Because it’s closing time! There is clean up, counting money and other things to do. It’s incredibly rude to insist that these places take donations when they are closed. When you have worked your full work day, would you be happy to stay over? I think not. These workers only have 30 minutes after the doors are locked to do the chores I mentioned earlier and get out! These folks are happy to take donations WHILE THEY ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS- not after. This is just common sense. I also want to add that it is incredibly narrow minded to dump items off after hours as well. Where do you think items that get soaked with rain and snow go? Electrical items that have gotten wet? Think it’s safe for the workers to test the items? These folks work very hard and have feelings just like anyone else. They love serving their community. Please try to show them some consideration.

Love this place!!!
It's like you're rummaging through a bunch of junk, which is fun. Hoarders love lining up to have the bins brought out right in front of them. Then they ravenously jump in like rabid mongooses!! I stand back and watch, it's great!! I almost always find something cool, and we all know that the hunt is half the fun!

The 1st time I went I swore I would never go back. A very different experience. Then I got snookered into going again. I don't know what happened-probably because I found something, then I started to dig like everyone else. My Mom and Niece love to go with me. Even my son loves to go. You never ever know what you will find there. The prices are very reasonable. You really cant beat it. I would say its definitely worth a visit. Just make sure you commit to twice. Don't write it off after the 1st time. Then make sure you go across the street to the Valley Thrift Store. Both stores a must. Makes a trip to Kettering well worth the visit.

This is a place that is loved by all he'll ever it is very tricky while being in there this is dubbed as the bends it's very popular your best bet if you're going to come and visit this place to wear gloves because you're going to be getting down and out in the bins picking through stuff so if you're into picking through junk then you're going to totally love coming to that store. There are certain people to look out for such as the purse lady you can't miss her when the pins come out she will literally put you out of the way or push you into the bins just to get the purses she doesn't even buy them she only grabbed them look through them because somebody had found a hundred dollar bill in one of these purses so since then she will go hog-wild looking for all the purses that she can fit into her little bag and take them look through them and then throw them out there's quirks to everybody you can find some grape Vines this place is the awesome place to go to from 8 in the morning till 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 in the morning till 6 p.m. on Sundays you can find tons of stuff that you did not know you needed!!!

Each time I come here is a whole new adventure. Excitement, nostalgia, mystery, competition, and JOY! I have seen grown men squeal with glee and have seen elderly ladies shoulder people out of the way to get a closer look at an item. I would always recommend gloves, and until you've gotten a feel for the place I would kindly advise one to stay out of the way of the lines of people waiting impatiently for the new bins to arrive.

Even the strict and straight-forward security lady, well she can crack a smile that makes the whole place feel like its there just for your enjoyment,

Had an enjoyable time shopping at this Goodwill location & was able to find plenty of materials to repurpose...Cashier was very nice also!!! I will shop there in the future, thanks for places like this I can save money, have fun rummaging & help keep stuff out of the land fills. There plenty of quality stuff to re-use also new stuff comes in every day its not for every one but it's one of my favorite ways to shop. If never been to this location I suggest giving it a try its definitely different!!!

Great place to find buried treasure. Be prepared to dig, and have hand wipes ready for when you are done. Some people wear gloves, as broken glass can be an issue. Goods arranged in long troughs, changed out hourly.

It is a thrift outlet. You search through flat bins of inserted items. I go here first when I need an item and find things for $1. Got brand new leather athletic shoes for $1.5. Be prepared to root through bins. You fill up cart and it is weighed a d you pay by weight. Love it. Not for the squeamish a d pristine.

You can find some good items at very good prices. Can get a little hectic lol, but all in all a good experience. Alpha (lady working cashier) was Extremly helpful! Very nice lady and went out of her way to help me out since I was a first time customer. Keep her around! ;)

You never know what you're going to find, and I have found some really great items at this store. The prices reflect it being an outlet rather than a regular Goodwill store. If you want organization, go to a regular Goodwill and pay the regular prices. If you want deals and a sideshow, this is the place. Everyone I've brought here loves it.

Always a bargain to be had at Goodwill Outlets. Many of the bins... the material had not been carefully handled and very mixed stock. Hardware items and books on top of glass photo frames? Fun place to shop tho.

I always wear gloves but I love this store it has everything, nice purses, furniture, and lots of junk, we just love the hunt, you don't know what you will find LOL. I have bought some really great shoes there, crocs and born sandal, looking like they have not been worn. Great place to just go check out. Bring gloves LOL.
