Larchmont Village Wine, Spirits & Cheese

A college roommate of mine originally from LA introduced me to the sandwiches here more than a decade ago and I been making the drive whenever I can to get my hands on them. Come early, the sandwiches are sold until they run out of bread. And speaking of bread this is perhaps one of the controversial aspect that you are seeing in the reviews. Yes they are “hard chewy” but it’s exactly what makes the sandwiches great for me. The sandwiches are relatively simple made with quality ingredients, yet the “hardness” of the bread adds a layer of complexity - stimuli from added texture in every bite. My go to is the salami but I have tried the others in the menu and they all been satisfying to me. There is no dine-in option, however there are a few tables outside if you can grab one. Parking is a challenge but if you drive a little further down the avenue, finding some street parking in the residential area is easy.

Best Sandwich for a Healthy Sandwich!! I enjoyed the #6 Vegetable Sandwich!! Which is healthy and delicious!! I also enjoy the Roasted Turkey Breast Sandwich!! And I also enjoy the Mozzarella Sandwich!!

The best sandwiches on the block. Also a wonderful selection of treats and beverages. My girlfriend and I love the #4 and #7 . Highly recommended.

Sandwiches were delicious and not too expensive i ordered the turkey on the baguette. Wine selection looks great too.

This wine and cheese store is actually a robust sandwich shop. Sandwiches are reasonably priced relative to the quality and size they offer: “large” is literally large. Usually, line gets formed in the peak lunch time, but it will only be about 5 minute wait standing. They receive phone call orders as well. Pickle and olive come with the sandwich. It is a neighborhood gem. You always have a ton of public and street parking spots everywhere. Street parking is busy most of times. If all filled, you can park next streets in the neighborhood (which is always empty) and walk a few minutes.

Wonderful, busy stop in Larchmont Village. The Soppressata is a favorite! Grab one and eat it on a bench why don’t you! 10/10

My fav sandwich shop! A #3 for me please. I can count on one hand the number of times I've been first in line or even close. I've tried different times too. Perhaps the best way would be to order by phone, maybe I'll try that one of these days. But I enjoy going to the village too.

Amazing the number of quality sandwiches they put together for so many customers in line or phone in orders. They also stock a selection of other food items as well, along with a large selection of wines. Visit their website to see their selection of wines or stop by the shop.

Parking (or driving) on Larchmont Blvd. is often a challenge, so consider parking on the north side of Beverly Blvd instead of in the busy village area. I ride my bicycle so its never a problem.

I shouldn't give this place a 5 star review since I already have to wait in line for their sandwiches. But, I guess I am too honest for my own good. These are AMAZING sandwiches. The baguette is also amazing to the point they run out every single day. We live a block away and have enjoyed this place for years.

Although I was just a delivery driver making a delivery, my interaction with Jessie solidified me coming back as a customer. Thank you, Jessie, for being extremely friendly and helpful. Your kindness does not go unrecognized. You are a gem. I would highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a great selection of wine and friendly service.

We’ve been coming here since 2005. We will come in town and we will make it a point to stop here every single time to have their sandwiches and macaroni and potato salad. It is absolutely delicious.

Amazing sandwiches, wine, and everything else! Their foods at an amazing price considering the quality and store location, at just about $9-12 per sandwich (insanely worth it!!). Definitely a local gem with its small, yet rarely cramped aesthetic atmosphere.

I love this place! This deli is the best. My favorite sandwiches are Prosciutto (#5) and the Salami (#3). I usually can't decide on one and end up getting both in the small sizes. The olives that come with the sandwiches are also delicious.

They also have an amazing collection of wine, cheese, and imported snacks! I pick up a bag of chips, drink, and sometimes some cheese while I'm here.

The line can get long but it usually moves pretty fast. Issue is the seating!! On a nice day, it's pretty difficult to find a seat outside. But you can usually find one if you stand around for a bit!

Definitely worth the visit, and you can get dessert across the street!

Larchmont Wine and Cheese has been my favorite sandwich shop since I was a little kid. Even after all these years, not much has changed. I always get a turkey on baguette or ciabatta. The owner, Sergio, is also the best!!! I highly recommend calling ahead of time as there tends to be a long wait.

One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in Los Angeles soo far! I always get the full Turkey with cheddar and extra spread!! If not honestly it will be kind dry. It’s soo delicious though. Always fresh ingredients!!

Although friendliness is not the high point here, the sandwiches are one of my top #2 in all of LA. But the wine selections are excellent and there's also lots of little high quality surprise items around the shop. It's busy, tiny and wonderful! Real French baguettes in LA? Call in your order to avoid a long wait during rush hours, basically when the sandwich bar is open!

Great sandwiches. I ordered half salami half prosciutto. The bread was tasty, the meats had the right amount of saltiness and the salads were fresh. Big portions. Make sure to order ahead of time if you are on a rush. Parking might also be tricky.
