Great customer service, the people working up front were very friendly/helpful and it was greatly appreciated especially since I was traveling from out of state

I just moved from Virginia to Houston and I attempted to transfer a prescription online as well as through the Walgreen's App but didn't have any success with either. I called Walgreens on Memorial Drive, the location I chose to now designate as my Houston store and spoke to Nellie in the pharmacy. And, Nellie totally hooked me up and very promptly made the prescription transfer happen immediately! She took all the information over the phone for a medication refill, but I forgot to ask how long it could potentially take to fill the order. As I was leaving my office within the same hour, I received a text and automated phone call letting me know my prescription was ready for pick-up! I was thrilled! The best part, I was able to personally thank Nellie for stepping up during a super busy day (the day before Thanksgiving) to get this handled for me! I am beyond grateful and appreciative for her outstanding customer service!! I've since been back as this is my favorite Houston Walgreen’s store!! Great service, friendly people, outstanding customer service!

I'm hearing a LOT of complaints about this pharmacy, most of which seem comprised of people who are upset because they didn't drop everything and immediately see *them*.
I've been using this pharmacy for over a year now. They are one of the few 24/7 pharmacies (which works well for people like me, who work nights), and they are among the cheaper pharmacies. Yes, at times I've experienced some long wait times, and long hold times. Understandable, as they are generally quite busy. I also keep in mind that those other orders they're working on were placed ahead of me. I certainly wouldn't be happy if I found people got bumped ahead of me, and mine wasn't ready because someone else thought they were somehow more important. They are a pharmacy, not a doctors office. Their job is to get you the right medications, and to make sure you have your questions answered about them. In this regard, I've had zero issues. They've always been helpful and professional to me, and to others I've observed the few times I've been waiting my turn. I've even seen them go out of their way to track down a medication I only recalled as how it looked, and turned out was no longer made. They did so with zero attitude. They do their jobs, not kiss your butt. It's a rare thing, and I have full respect for it.
If I wasn't moving out of state soon, I'd continue to use them, and I highly recommend them to anyone else.

I had a great experience at the drive-through window. The pharmacist was friendly, quick, knowledgeable, and helpful. Now that I have moved to this neighborhood I will be returning to this Walgreens for all my needs, especially since it is 24 hours and I have 3 kids who sometimes have emergency needs at night.

I arrived here less than 10 minutes after leaving my doctor. They were bagging my prescription even before I got there. They finished up in very short order and I went on my way. I actually got the automated call telling me that my prescription is ready while I was walking toward the door with prescription in hand. Very courteous and fast.

I am happy with the service provided by Dr. Nguyen. Especially when the drug given to me was causing bad reactions. He called my physician to change to an alternative so I could feel better.

Merlin was very helpful needed some photos and documents for my sons project printed last minute. She had great customer service and very patient during the process. Thank you

Been shopping here for over 10 yrs and I love buying my stuff here when I'm in a rush, the line moves pretty quickly and the employees are really friendly.
