Whenever I visit CVS Pharmacy, I look forward to seeing Yemiserach, whose professionalism and dedication to customer service truly stand out. Even during the busiest times, she manages to greet every customer with a warm, reassuring smile that makes you feel instantly at ease. Her expertise in addressing inquiries and resolving any issues is commendable, ensuring that each customer leaves satisfied. Yemiserach’s consistently excellent service not only enhances my shopping experience but also elevates the entire store’s atmosphere. I needed a passport photo done. The store was open nice and early before 8am but they did not have the staff to do the photo before 9am. Nevertheless the associate said she would do the photo, which she did. This saved me a trip as I was passing by anyway.

The pharmacists saved me $820 on my prescription refill- my insurance messed up. They went the extra mile to find the right coupons allowing me to get my medication affordably. Instead of paying over $900, I ended up paying just $80 for a medication I really needed.

Many reviews are about the phone service - it is slow across many branches, but you will get a hold of someone here with some patience. The people here really care about others, and they will work with you to resolve any issue you’re having.

Today

This past week I got exceptional and kind-hearted service from three of the employees at this CVS store. They helped me figure something out, and even gave me a $5 extra bucks coupon. Gora, Chu Chu, and Alain went out of their way to help me and I want to recognize them for doing so.

Elizabeth and the whole team at CVS is very helpful. I use the pharmacy, photos, shop, and load my card card there. Nice to see the store helping like it was when I went to the store with my mother in the 1970's

Literally, every review of this pharmacy is inaccurate. The pharmacy may be understaffed thanks to corporate, but they always have your medication IF your INSURANCE and DOCTOR bothered to approve and send it. The place is clean and the staff and so nice. They helped me when I fainted in an aisle, they fought my insurance for me multiple times, they constantly clean and restock the store, and people are still bitching in these comments that they can’t serve people faster. They even put out chairs for people who can’t stand in line!

Just get used to the idea that this is a tiny CVS in a strip mall forced to serve the capacity of a huge CVS with a MinuteClinic. It’s full of great employees who care, but corporate is screwing them.

I like this place the people that work there were very friendly and nice. They had a lot of different items and many sales..

Rehima was very polite and very helpful with assisting my to find all the needed items for my elderly mother, the store was organized and clean.

Today I went to the CVS at Woodmoor Shopping Center in Silver Spring, Md. I was looking for Tylenol and Delsym cough syrup. When I went to the register to pay and discovered my good discount( I am a member of their program- I pay only $5.00 per month for membership) I realized I could look around for a sweet snack.
I left a happy customer, with my cough medicine and rice crispy marshmellow treat. The employees were real helpful at the self- checkout too.

Yimegnusha was so professional, she was kind enough to help me find items with a friendly smile and went above and beyond with her spirit. Thank you for hiring such amazing people.

There was an employee I believe her name was Ana which made me laugh she had the same name as me well to get to the point I usually go to Walgreens but I went to this cvs and Ana was so helpful not sure what her position is but she was very helpful walked me to where I needed to find some personal things along with household items she gave over 100% customer service I will be coming back to this location

Excellent service. Customer service delivery was exceptional, personable and speedy.

I am leaving this review for 2 reasons. Back in may a left my disposable camera at cvs to be sent out and developed, and 3 months later still had not gotten notified that it was ready, I had also 3 separate dates went in and asked the same young man (he was coincidentally working each time I had gone in to ask about this) working at the counter for help about my camera. I understand that because of COVID things were delayed, and after the third time just began to accept the fact that my photos were lost. Fast forward to today, an incredibly nice woman working behind the counter (I wish I got your name so I could mention you directly in this, but you had a blonde braided hairstyle!) who took the time to individually look through each order to see if maybe my order had been missed to notify me that my photos were ready. She found them, and they had been there since the end of may. So to this woman, Thank you so much! you literally made my day because I thought these photos were gone forever. It was the smallest task that could have been inconvenient to her (there were a lot of photo orders!) but she immediately helped me and actually did find them and I appreciate that, she is the reason I am leaving 5 stars. To the young man, maybe next time actually check the bin for the name. I came in 3 times over the span of a couple weeks (and you literally told me you remembered me about the exact situation) and you basically told me there was nothing you could do & they had been there the whole time.

My son was prescribed doxycycline for a tick bite. The medicine needed to be administered ASAP.
The prescription was transferred twice before this pharmacy filled it.
First, at the Giant pharmacy in Wheaton I waited for 2 hours while the pharmacist there told me the prescription would be issued in 15 minutes. At the end of the whole wait, they admitted not to even have the medicine from the beginning.
The doctors office had to reissue the prescription to a CVC in Wheaton. That pharmacy also did not have the medicine, but caught it right away and forwarded it to the Colesville CVS.
When I came to the Colesville CVS, not even 5 minutes after the prescription was forwarded to them, all I needed to do is give the patient’s name and the pharmacist left everything else, immediately filled the prescription and provided me with the medicine.
Really wonderful experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I went in there to get some passport photos taken, and it was fast professionally done and everything. The large selection of stuff to buy also helps. I'd recommend this place.
