Veridian Market & Wine

This hole-in-the-wall market is nearby and carries most things. The cashier (store owner?) is always so nice and helpful. Last time I was here, I grabbed a single corndog, a mini bottle of wine, and a bag of chips. Totaled about $11. Love this place. Oh, and if you’re into beer and wine, this place has plenty of it!

This little store is packed with the best selection of craft beers in the area. Seriously, so many good brands, Dogfish head, Southern Belle, Victory, Rogue and many more! Also great traditional American and Mexican beers, hard ciders, wine and champagne. Friendly service, great location, nice prices. Close enough to walk to! Will be going back soon.

This is my most favorite convenience store ever. Excellent selection of many things. Beer and wine selection is wonderful. Dry cleaners there. Safe. Clean. Hospitable. Most of all, the owner (AWESOME) and employees make you believe in the goodness of people. They are professional, funny, kind and helpful. Owner is knowledgeable about beer and wine and provides recommendations! He also knows my favorite 2 beers since I frequently go to this store. He'll tell me right away, when I walk in, if they don't have my beer when it'll be in!

I usually don't leave reviews but I must say that this store is my fav store around the area. Nice staff, great variety of wine, and snacks that go along with drinking!

The owner of the shop, Nick, is super kind and helpful. He is always ready to suggest you wine or guide you through any product choice, being thoughtful of your needs. They also provide a dry cleaning and clothes repair service that my husband and I use constantly and is of very high quality. The store is very convenient, provides a great selection of wine and beer, and a very friendly experience. One of the best things of living in the Veridian is just having them downstairs.

It's convenient, and has extended hours on the weekends---just when it's most necessary. This customer focus extends to the warm, personal welcome everyone receives as he/she enters.

It's a perfect little neighborhood wine store. They sell more than wine but that's what I prefer. The customer service is always good and the pricing is pretty reasonable. They also have some wine stored in the refrigerator and some stocked on the shelf which I like. You can purchase snacks from this store as well.

Great prices and such friendly service. I've also utilized the dry cleaner for my Dress uniform and it came out great

Wonderful little market with a very wide range of items. The wine selection (and prices!) are great. The owners are really a joy to talk to. Couldn't be happier with this place. I went in looking for a screwdriver the other day and the owner told me he didn't sell them but that he keeps tools for residents of the Veridian to borrow.

Surprisingly reasonable prices and larger than anticipated selection. Very friendly, helpful, hardworking staff. I really appreciate the convenience of this store.

When we moved to this area 3 years ago they didn't offer our favorite craft beer. We asked if they'd stock it for us and it's been readily available ever since. FANTASTIC service, wonderful people, and always reliable.

I was looking for a place in Silver Spring that could deliver a bottle of champagne and a cheese/cracker/charcuterie basket to a friend in the area (we live out of state). I came across Veridian Market and Wine. When I called, Charles, the owner, picked up and had what I was looking for and delivered it that day to my friend’s doorstep. Charles was so helpful and reliable and cared about helping me surprise my friend with a congratulatory bottle of champagne and basket of nibbles. Thank you Charles! I highly recommend calling Veridian!

Family owned store and they do almost everything – dry cleaning, alterations, beer and wine plus basic 7-11 food range. The service is always with a smile and best of all – they are open late (till 10-10.30 PM). So you can get your laundry past 7.

Prices are very reasonable and they have a good selection of wine/beer including some unusual items (like swing-top beers).
2021: It's buzzing place despite all COVID-19, served well as a small grocery shop during all lock-down 2020. Still a place to get some unusual wine like Rioja, sherry or swing top

2021: We are still under COVID-19 Delta - kudos for the owner - this shop works also as a small grocery. It's a busy spot right now since people from around apartments going here. Rioja is also present - try it with rare steak or just with bone-in pork chops.

Love how this market has dry cleaners as well as toiletries. However it is pricey . Hours are good since weekend closes 11

Have a good selection of all types of wine, beer, ciders and seltzers. They also have dry goods and some essentials like eggs milk and butter.

One of my favorite neighborhood markets. Great selection of beer and wine AND my dry cleaning is always on point. A gem of Silver Spring!

Great little corner store with beer, wine, essential foods and non-alcoholic beverages, operated by really nice men. Usually not crowded as people pop in and out quickly.

Staff is great and have plenty of options for wine, beer and quick meals to heat up. Cleaner service is top notch also.
