I would caution against letting this store gift wrap when they’re busy. The ornament I bought was broken on the corner when the recipient opened the gift. Of course she was too gracious to let me take it back since she really loved the ornament and chose to hang it broken. Better to take it and wrap it properly yourself.

Update: 5 stars! The ornament was replaced and sent to the receiver. And the communication was excellent. They even corrected my mistake when I transposed the address. Thanks for great customer service!

A dangerously lovely store! As usual, I visited with the intention of buying gifts for others and walked out with lots of fun things for myself. Really beautiful housewares, and a great selection of gifts for anyone you can think of.

Cute local store with lots of terrific Chicago-themed (and not) gifts you wouldn’t be able to find at a traditional gift shop on Michigan Avenue. Friendly staff, and super fun to shop here.

I went in because I saw they were open later. I didn’t have anything in mind that I was shopping for but was able to find some things for my sister in law. They have a lot of holiday kitchen items, purses, ladies winter wear, Chicago themed gifts, etc. I want to go back and do some shopping for myself!

This is one of my favorite spots for shopping whenever I'm in Chicago. It's my go-to place for finding one-of-a-kind clothes and presents. This store carries a large selection of different kinds of gift items. They sell a wide variety of distinctive items, including puzzles, jewelry, and greeting cards suited to a diverse range of personalities, among other things. The shop may not be very large, but it is jam-packed with a wide variety of products, any of which could be used as a starting point for a creative gift idea. Every item in this store has its own unique quality, and the customer service that they offer is unmatched. The people working in customer service are always understanding, precise, and friendly. Over the course of the past few years, I've been there quite a few times, and each and every time, I've found the staff to be so helpful and accommodating in any way!
A wonderful place to shop for presents for those you care about, as well as for something unique for yourself. You guys might want to give it a shot as well.

This store is adorable, and has a great selection at every price point. More importantly, the staff is very kind. I was in here with my young daughter, and she accidentally broke a glass. They were quick to help us clean it up, and extremely gracious about it!

Allison and Dave are the BEST! I recently purchased a birthday gift card via their website to surprise my daughter who was on her way to the shop! I wasn't sure if they could do it that fast, so I added the delivery fee in case they could not and had to ship it. But she did show up and redeemed it right there. So they called me personally AND emailed me too, to make sure I got the refund of the order and then I reordered without the shipping fee since they did not need to send it. I told them to keep it, but they would not accept! And they trusted me with refunding me first! That is going out of their way to make things right!!!! My daughter loved her selection of items too! Kudos to the staff at this shop!!! And many thanks to you for going the extra mile! :)

This store is adorable. I bought all my Christmas gifts here this year. They have something for everyone. Lots of unique items. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I Had a wonderful experience shopping for gifts. Hazel has a great selection of adorable items, beautifully displayed and reasonably priced. The card selection is outstanding. The staff is friendly and helpful but not overbearing. They wrapped my gifts in lovely paper. They turned a cold and dreary day into an upbeat experience.

Such a cute shop! Many gift ideas, homewares, jewelry. Some candles and body products and a large selection of locally created greeting cards. Definitely stop in for when you need a nice gift, or want to deck out your dining table for a party!

The jewelry is the main event here, so browse the cases carefully! You might find a treasure!

They have everything and the staff is great. They will wrap any gift and have great Christmas ornaments. Update they moved to a bigger space across the street which is great as they have more interesting things. I cannot say enough nice things about this place and the owner is so wonderful he works hard always to assist and not just when they are not busy. I recommend coming here if you need to pick up a great gift love this place.

My favorite store in Chicago! They always have the best gifts and cards - perfect for a quick stop to get a present on a way to a birthday party or celebration dinner. Plus the staff is SUPER friendly. They treat my dog like a rock star every time we walk in. I always end up popping in regularly because they make it so welcoming when I'm out walking my dog around the neighborhood.

Hazel has a cute collection of gifts, knickknacks, jewelry and decor. They have a great selection of unique cards and wrapping paper, and even have a complimentary wrapping service. It is very likely you will find something you love, whether for yourself or someone else.

My go to for gifts, whether for myself or friends. Great selection of dude stuff in addition to standard gifty shop items. Tons of great jewelry, accessories (including super cute masks), even some kids & baby items. Don't forget to visit their clothing shop just down the block!

We go to Hazel every year to get a new ornament and some gifts for the family. They always have a great selection and their customer service is always outstanding. The only thing to know is that during the holidays it can get very busy.

Pretty much the best gift and card shop ever! They always have something perfect and unique for whomever it is I am shopping for. And their card selection is phenomenal - I always find myself buying more cards than I came in for because there are so many good ones. Definitely a local gem!
