Giant Food

I been customer in this store for about 6 years, and and today I get a amazing service for this gentleman call James in the kitchen section, they was out of rotisserie chicken and the time to cook was gonna take around 45 minutes but he offered me a second option that was gonna take less time, I was in a rush time but hungry, just to make sure I was attendant and happy he always was updating me about how the food was getting done I feel so comfortable and happy thank you so much Mr James.

Convenient but always out of stock for the Ben and Jerry's ice cream flavor O eat Karamel Sutra .

I really like it but the cashiers should get stools. They shouldn't have to stand and work all day.

It was good I did some grocery shopping and I got my 💉 shot while I was there.

🌟Very nice food selection. 😊 There's hot food to choose from as well as deli sliced meat; there are potato salads, pasta salads, etc. also.🌟The bakery section has a good variety of cookies 🍪, cakes 🎂 & pies 🥧 that are delicious 😋 from what I've tasted so far. This Giant food store is also close to the metro station.🌟 One of the things I like about this location are the friendly & helpful employees. 🌟Customer service is always key 🗝 for me & will definitely have me coming back & this store has great staff working here. 🌟There is a parking garage available at this location.

I loved that the staff was helpful and friendly. By me being handicapped the staff was helpful. It means a lot for people to be helpful.

It was me and my wife's first time shopping at Giant as we had just arrived in Washington DC earlier that afternoon. And a close friend drove us there as they also had purchase items there. It was amazing. Giant Food's fresh vegetable produce prices are very reasonable. Their whole chicken prices were awesome too, we purchased one for under $6.00 dollars as it came in between $5.30 to $5.85. The soup packets were as low as $0.99 cents per packet. We got the Jamaican style chicken soup packets. And Kim (one of the store associates working double time as a cashier and grocery packer) was one of the nicest people ever! Oh and did I forget to mention that this particular location sells fresh Chicken Gizzards with generous portions for as low as $3.25? I will definitely be back for those!

Avoid this giants, Because they be having crackheads and homeless people hanging the store.

The store is well-staffed and the staff are very helpful. It is a solid grocery store that has everything you really need. Produce is generally good quality and some of the bakery items are really nice. Prices are good and they often have great sales.

I love My Giant the prices are ok,and I can always find what I'm looking for

I was in the store recently and saw an associate named Joshua working with a blind and elderly customer as he shopped. The sort of attentiveness and patience Joshua demonstrated was well beyond the scope of his responsibilities as an associate. Really cool to see

Store is clean and well-stocked. Front-end employees are always super helpful. Great deals and rewards with the Giant app. Just be sure to check expiration dates on everything you buy.

Giant coming in at 5 stars…just about always. But I’m not gf and also cook for friends often. I sent this pic to a gf friend and they were very excited over the choices Giant had. I shope here infrequently as I’m not nearby but if your in need of some gluten free baking stop by giant! Grab some eggs and milk too!

This place is a great but somewhat expensive grocery store on the edge of Columbia Heights. Easily metro accessible and open 24 hours for those of us who are up at 2-3am.

Local Alcohol laws still apply so be mindful of the closure.

Grab the big cart, you know you need it.

Did online pick up, received phone call and email to let me know as soon as my order was ready for pickup. There was no wait time at all. The young man was very courteous and friendly while loading my car. 😊

I really like that they have the type of dog food that my dog likes.

Located adjacent to the Van Ness Metro station, CVS, and Starbucks. Self-service registers are the way to go depending on the time of day. Shelves well stocked. Reasonable bouquet prices.

To me, this is one of the better Giant stores. The hot food and salad bar are replenished regularly-especially for the lunch and after work crowd. Friendly staff and decent sales. Good location(near subway/buses) parking garage and courtesy drivers(for an fee).

😶 I'm a Early early bird. We haven't been to this Giant Store (1345 Park Rd N.W. & 14 St. N.W. 20010), in over a year because I was sick. Nevertheless, 😊 It was truly A Pleasure. This Giant was So so Clean, only a few boxes in the middle of the floor, But there was young man putting up the stocks... Thank you Very Much to All of the Early Crew Workers & the Police Officer for making my return day Great. 😃
