Indispensable neighborhood market with any food essentials you’d need, all reasonably priced, and more. Fresh fruits, vegetables, milk, beverages, cereal, canned goods — they have just about everything. What makes this place great is its Ethiopian and Middle Eastern staples - lentils, flat breads, tahini, spices, teas, even hookah supplies and incense. Great shop, never had a bad experience in 3 years of going there.

Lot of interesting products, I can see what others say about some disorganization but you have to expect this and take it for what it is, a place to get things you can't find anywhere else.

Solid place. Prices are really great in comparison but they don’t list all of them so take that with a grain of salt. Some Kirkland brand items if you like Costco

First time to drop in. They have quite a variety of product. Store is very clean and the workers super helpful.

This small market has a great selection of fresh and packaged food. Their friendly staff is very welcoming and always willing to help customers find an item or recommend a product. The perfect place to swing by for a quick snack or to grab missing ingredients.

I feel like Black Lion is becoming one of my go-to spots during the pandemic as I think Giant is really fumbling.

I did find some expired tahini which was bad because there wasn't any on the shelf that could be purchased but I have been having no problems with the great tea selection nor the breads. I've even purchased plantains and avocado here instead of doing battle with Panam up the street.

They have also changed the layout of the store and moved the register behind plexiglass to better aid in the flow, in an out. Adjustments made and the shelves are always pretty stocked so I can dig it.

I went there to make a purchase and the cashier was very nice to me. My only complaint is there are no price stickers on items.

Clean and inviting. Variety of vegetables. Meat is fresh and good.
