This Safeway is generally standard in its quality, but Roman, the staff member, provides above-and-beyond customer service every time I see him. He goes out of his way to make me feel welcome and celebrated. He is extraordinarily kind, helpful, and excellent at his job!

Ramon is the kindest staff I’ve ever seen on any Safeway! I’m glad to run into him and his top-notch attention every time I come here!

Love coming down here to the fish market. Also, I am pleasantly surprised at events that I see down there from concerts to film viewings. My favorite is the water taxi. I keep a season pass!

Very nice grocery store. The team is really friendly and professional. I was there yesterday, and heard how a employee was asking to an elderly person, if everything is alright. Very human and nice. And a great choice of products.

Check out is a bit slow there, although a good place for grocery

For a small, not updated neighborhood store it still delivers and always has what I need. The staff has always been very helpful to me and my guests and I really appreciate their support, service, smiles and efforts to stock my small but cozy one bedroom apartment with everything we need whenever we need it! I walk to the store almost everyday I think because the staff has been so nice! Oh and for the price, the best meats in the city!

Safeway isn't my normal go-to for groceries, especially meats 😒, but this particular store has always felt nice and cozy; it's almost like a neighborhood bodega. The workers are great and the meat selection AT THIS STORE has never done me wrong.

Although it is much smaller with less products than the nearby Harris Teeter, this Safeway is possibly a better place to shop. The prices are not as inflated and it has everything that you would want from a grocery store. Unless you have specific needs, shop here if money is an issue. Its clean, friendly, and the lines move quickly.

The transformation of the Safeway in my neighborhood has been both helpful and inspiring. The selection has become far healthier, the deals have gotten much better, the prices more reasonable. The staff is always helpful. And check out their Monopoly game. I won 3 free mo ths of Peacock streaming plus some great savings! Keep it up, Safeway!

The deli man was very helpful as and kind he is credit to your store I will tell family and friends to shopea my favorite Safeway.

Tyra in the pharmacy department is awesome. I don’t do well with shots but I knew I had to take the vaccine. She was so comforting, she told me exactly what to expect and the shot was over before I knew what was going on. I felt no pain thank you so much timer for your patience with me.

Ingrid is the best, most helpful person - she assisted me with blowing up balloons early on a Saturday morning and she was just so wonderful. Also, this Safeway is really beautiful and clean after the remodeling they did!

The new cheese steak monster was delicious and most satisfying. I'm a power builder so food is a huge part of life.

My Cashier Shay L. was phenomenal. It was closing time and I had more items then usual. She didnt complain. She didnt roll her eyes she was GREAT!!!! More stores need cashiers like her!!! Thank you Shay I will be back to visit 😎

Now this location is alot better than the Minnesota avenue location, alit more cleaner, better food quality 😌

Safeway is one of the best grocery store around here all the products are fresh and all the employees always are respectful and polite.
