AB Liquor #2

This awesome local liquor store is a MUST check out. Sam owns the Sunrise Mini Mart next door which is also freaking amazing (hand selected craft beer, wines, coffee, Lick ice cream, etc) so I already knew this place would be great. Besides being super stylish on the interior and smelling of fresh cut wood, they have a outstanding variety of curated liquors which makes it hard to choose what to buy. Try to catch Spencer... He took time to walk around with me and point out his favorites, as well as put together the "Staff Picks" shelf. I was particularly impressed with their mezcal selection. You won't be disappointed!

Came in looking for a specific bourbon which was out of stock, but Moon took the time to walk me through some of the other selections and I left with a bottle of Holladay that I’m absolutely thrilled with. Great selection, great service, and they even have Malort if that’s something you’re into (like me)

Well stocked, nice presentation and inviting smells are not the combination I usually use to describe a liquor store, but hey! I was pleasantly surprised! Check out the interior photos I posted. This is a good joint to stop in for a bottle or 3!

What a wonderful shop! They have quite the extensive selection of mezcals. I found a few liqueurs here that I haven’t found anywhere else in town.

This is a great little store. The guys are always amazingly helpful! I went in looking for rum for my husband, I had no idea what to get. Well the guy working that day made an excellent recommendation and now it’s my husbands go to favorite rum! Love stopping in here!

I almost don't want to write this review. This store has been my little secret.

I don't know how they get their hands on some of the stuff they carry, but they have a strong selection of harder-to-find stuff.

No, you won't find Stagg Jr. or a bottle of Pappy, but the selection they do have is quite robust and they know their stuff.

A true find in a very small package.

Perfect specialty shop with lots of hard to find / never seen this before options. It feels like each item was handpicked and curated. The staff are super knowledgeablegeable and friendly. The store is also brand new on the inside and feels good to be in. Would recommend if you're looking for something hard to find, something different, or wanting a locally-owned alternative to big liquor stores. :)

Really cool selection of stuff. Staff is helpful. Interesting finds if you're looking for more unique liquor.

Best tequila selection I’ve ever seen

I cannot speak highly enough of this place... I've been spending the past couple months going to total wine, twin liquors, warehouse, etc to stock my bar... I visited AB liquors one time and they had EVERYTHING I needed. Plus dozens of spirits, liqueurs, bitters, fortified wines, aperitivos, mixers etc that I've never seen at any other liquor store in Austin. Truly a one-stop shop for any cocktail need -- on top of that, the staff know what they're talking about and will chat about cocktails with you all day. If you're serious about mixed drinks stop in here and you won't be disappointed.

In my opinion, best liquor store in the city. Best mezcal selection by far. Huge amaro, whiskey and gin selections as well. Also, Sam is the man!

Amazing bottles great prices.
And the secret stash is the bar equipment they provide including the mixers.

Must be Texas hospitality but it was like buying from family. I appreciated the service and the service at the store they have next door that sells wine...need to get up on the strawberry wine, which is everything lol. Thanks again guys.
