Target Driving School

I took my road test training and road test with Target driving school and it was a great experience. Yolanda was very good with coordinating my classes and sending me reminders ahead of every class. I took my classes with Hector, who was very patient and an excellent instructor. I received feedback after every class and this helped me clear my road test in the first attempt. Finally took the test with George, who helped me stay calm and confident during the test and provided his valuable feedback after. I highly recommend Target for training and/or road test.
Note: They also provide pick up and drop off from your residence which is great!

It's been a pleasure taking my driving classes at Target Driving School and my Instructor Elias is so professional, polite and very supportive. He made me feel extremely comfortable behind the wheel and in 4 classes I went from having no real driving experience to feeling confident enough to immediately take the road test and I passed the test!

I really liked that, they have a pick & drop at home facility for extra dollars. The classes are done in back to back 4 days.

My Examiner Brandi was really kind, and gave me clear instructions before taking the test. Yolanda helped me schedule my classes and all the staff are very welcoming and supportive.

I am so beyond satisfied with my experience at the school!! First of all, Yolanda was so helpful with the scheduling and sent reminders the day before. I had Brandi for both my refresh class and the driving test, and cannot say better things about her! I went in very nervous, but she was so kind and explained everything you need to know to drive safely and responsibly. She gave me the confidence I needed to take the driving test and gave me feedback once the test was over (as well as throughout the class). Definitely going back to take highway driving lessons with them. Cannot recommend them enough!

I had a nice experience with my road test preparation and test with Target Driving School. Yolanda was very kind and patiently helped in coordinating the schedule for the classes. Hector was my instructor for the first class and explained the basics, rules and concepts very nicely. Brandi was my instructor for the remaining classes and she patiently explained me the concept of driving safely for the safety of myself and others. During the classes, she conveyed the areas to improve and helped me dispel my nervousness by teaching me the concept of "Target" and worked on my driving. I liked the way how they make you comfortable, listen to you and give confidence at each and every step. Their lessons helped me to clear my exam in the first attempt. I highly recommend TDS. Yolanda was very kind and helped coordinate schedule for classes. Leanne was amazing instructor, she made parallel parking so easy with her tips and explain basic rules and concepts. She make me comfortable and give me confidence. Brandi was my examiner. I was so nervous for my driving test but she understand and kept me calm.. My tester gave very detailed information and suggestions on my driving skills.

It's an excellent place to learn driving. They also provide free pickups and dropoffs which is really great. Hector was my trainer and Brandy was my examiner. Hector is an amazing trainer and he not only trains you to pass the test but also prepares you to drive confidently on the road. He teaches all the good practices. Brandy is an excellent examiner. She gives feedback after the test that you can take forward to drive confidently. Overall, I would definitely give a 5 star rating.

I had a splendid experience at Target Driving School. They did a great job helping me build good driving habits. Hector is a great instructor who explains things in a way that is easy for me to comprehend. He also encouraged me to be patient with myself and have faith in myself. I had never touched the steering wheel before, but after five lessons, I passed my driving test on the first try. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy driving school in Austin.

Scheduling with them can be a little bit tricky. Sometimes they can be quite busy with the road tests and walking in students. You may need to call in again before they answer your calls. Also, they do open on Saturday from 10am to 3pm. Not sure why Google Maps says otherwise.

It was really a great experience in getting trained at Target Driving School. My instructors were Leanne and George and a big shout out to both of them. They were perfect and very helpful. Thanks a ton to Brandi for her approach in keeping me calm during the exam and also to Yolanda for her flexibility in scheduling the classes... I would recommend this driving school anyday to anyone!!!

My instructors were Hector and Elias. They were very good at explaining rules and ensure that we drive safely. Special thanks to Brandi who took my driving test and explained me on the areas where I need to improve after the test. Had the best experience here, everyone was extremely nice and polite. I was able to get in to an appointment the day before and Brandi was amazing. She was really sweet and made me less nervous about driving on the road. I will definitely be recommending her and target driving school.

Leanne was a very patient, friendly and knowledgeable instructor. She took time in explaining the laws, clarified each and every doubts and gave plenty of advice on how to drive safe in the road following the rules. Elle is another instructor who gave lot of tips on how to avoid mistakes. My sincere thanks to both of them. Brandi who evaluated me shared the areas where I did well and especially on the areas where I made mistakes. It helped me a lot and reminded to be mindful in the road to drive safe. Thanks Brandi. I had a smooth and easy experience with Target Driving School. The staff is very welcoming at every moment and help with any question. My instructor Brandi was very easy to get along she also helped me with questions of the following steps to get my drivers license. Totally would recommend to anyone!

Hector is my trainer throughout and possess awesome teaching skills. Very perfect in identifying the gaps and make sure we learn them. He makes the learning process easy, removes your fear factor and at the same time teach you that all required to be safe driver. Brandi is an excellent instructor. Spoke fast but explantation was comprehensive and clear. Professional and patient in guiding student practicing each of the maneuvers. Also customer service from Yolanda was friendly.
