Super nice employees, and some really beautiful shop cats. They usually have what I need and if not they have good suggestions for close dupe products or similar items.

The staff was awesome. They found exactly what I needed without having to search myself, and the prices were great! I've gone to over 5 locations in the Austin area and this is my favorite so far.

Always a chill environment. The manager is the lazy black dude who seems to be a little too comfortable as he literally lounges on the counter top napping or grooming himself while his employees basically wait on him tail n paw he is completely uninterested in anything we customers have to say yet his vibe is inviting and people are just drawn to him regardless.

Always love this place. Wish they had them in Branson MO.

I stopped in looking for something for a hard-to-buy-for birthday gift. The staff here is really helpful and went out of their way to be helpful for me. I ended up buying a bunch of Camo wraps on the staff's recommendation and they were right- good flavor, easy to roll, slow burn. Didn't find the gift, but this was a stand-out experience. Glad I stopped in, and would visit again for sure

I don't smoke but if you do they have everything you need for that and it's durable as I'm told. I come here for the knick knacks and buttons and stickers and I love it. The employees are really friendly and nice. Not going to lie though you're probably going to run into some creepy customers but otherwise it's a great place to blow your money. It's also a good place to go if you're last minute shopping for a gift for someone on the younger or free spirited side. Everything is a bit more expensive than you might get it somewhere else but because they sell stuff I like and it's all in one location I don't mind spending an extra dollar or two. It's too frustrating to find these things individually and I'm trying to not use Amazon so much. The stickers and buttons and magnets are cheap though so if you're like me and you like having your opinion placed everywhere then you'll enjoy that.

Great shop, Lots of selection. The guys up there behind the counter are laid back and friendly. I prefer this location.

Amazing, quirky af little shop. Staff were so chill, the whole vibe was awesomely geeky with their handmade video game and pop culture related signs and the shop cat is absolutely adorable. Places like this are what's keeping Austin weird. ❤

This is the iconic head shop of Austin. It is the original hippie heaven for zigzag papers smoking devices, and all other related accessories to the culture of the hippie movement surviving to this day and the hearts and souls of the citizens of Austin who remember Willie Nelson walking down the street playing his guitar being the pied Piper on 6th Street followed by hundreds of fans and fellow hippies. To this day the odd assortment of paraphernalia is amazing to behold and the delight to browse. The staff is sometimes friendly and sometimes non-existent, hiding behind the counter kneeling on the floor doing God knows what. I love Planet K.

Bonus for being open until midnight. I always get the VIP treatment when I go to Planet K. Even a non-smoker would love this place for the weird, strange curios, oddities, art and flashbacks from the 70s and 80s. Hippie chick in paradise, that is me when I go there. 😊 Thanks for keeping Austin Weird.

Before I could even walk through the door I was greeted by smiling faces and
attentive employees . Not only was I helped but it was very informative with detailed specifications. That class of customer service is very rare now days .
Every employee in the building spoke to me not just one the atmosphere very chillaxed , the cashier was hilarious thanks guys for the awesome experience!

This place seems like an Austin staple. I went in for a nose ring (lost mine down a hotel sink), and got one for under $5. Nothing is over priced and they have a ton of unique gifts and novelties. They'll even help you grow tomatoes if you'd like. Indoors or outside ;) Lots of smoking accessories and vaping products as well. They also have a little set up on the counter where you can put money in for a variety of charities.

There's a big fluffy cat. Don't let him out after you.
