I'm quite the stationary and pen connoisseur, and have been to many stationary stores. This store is amazing. The collection of brands from all over the world is astounding in such a tiny shop. Very well curated selection that you are able to see in person. Such a gem of a find here in the midwest. I will be back!

Beautifully appointed space with high quality stationary products. They have a little bit of everything in this shop! I generally go in just to touch all the pretty notebooks and pens, and walk out with my perfect find. Uniquely housed in an old fire station building.

Scribe Stationer is my go-to stationary store in the Cedar Rapids area. The staff is always incredibly kind and courteous, and is always more than willing to help me find what I’m looking for.

This shop has stuff at multiple price points, from everyday/casual stationary supplies, to much nicer and expensive gift or hobbyist items. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for (with very specific details) with just a little time spent flipping through notebooks and displays.

Also, I LOVE how Scribe Stationer brings a historic charm. From the building’s exterior, to the vintage mail sorting shelves used as displays on the walls, this shop is just so cute and keeps me coming back.

Wonderful historic building. Fun to see it continue to be maintained and in use as a local small business space.

Lovely shop and people. If you like stationary and unique finds, this is the place for you. Soo many cute items and all super high-quality. They carry many great brands and my favorite planner! A must stop in the area.

I have to limit how many times I visit this store because it is so wonderful! If you love all things paper, planners, write-in-books, cards, pens, postcards -- this is the place for you! Or, if you're like me, you go saying you're shopping for others, because everything in the store makes a great gift, but find an item or two (or five) to get for yourself. Self care, people! Everyone in the shop is super nice. They are happy to answer questions or let you wander. Visit soon and visit often because we need gems like this shop in our community! Let's make snail mail a thing again.

I could have spent my life and all of my money in this store. I kept thinking it’s exactly the kind of store I would want to own. They had everything from funny cards to classy journals. If you’re looking for a new planner, head here. Also, a great place for gifts.

Beautiful store. The woman there was super nice and very helpful. She made sure I left with exactly what I needed and answered lots of questions. The pen and journal I bought are perfect.

!!! I wish I could live here. This shop had THE CUTEST vibe, in an OLD FIREHOUSE. The owner was absolutely lovely to chat with. Do yourself a favor and please go.
