Harbor Freight Tools

My 2nd visit and this is my go to place for tools and accessories that I don't need to last a life time or one off projects. Service is prompt and the staff was frieldly/helpful. Take advantage of coupons and save as much as u can.

Commack store has improved greatly as of 3/2024. I was going since day one and it was a cluster f to say the least as far as workers go. But the crew they had the last couple times were Great. All knew where stuff was, stopped what they were doing to help me find a hidden low shelf item, and actually seemed like they all knew what tools were, didn't used to be like that here, seemed like too many genz thinking they were chiefs, when they were barely Indians. Great job guys!

The store is the local retailer for all your odd tool needs. They've certainly changed their outlooks corporate decision wise, but I can at least say the staff here are fantastic, kind, and dedicated people. Connor the supervisor is more than willing to answer and research your questions about products, Natalie the cashier is always friendly and happy to help to her best abilities, and Kane's quick with a smile to greet you and say goodbye.

Have picked up some useful tools in HF, Torque meters, orbital polisher, ratchets, engine stand, engine crane, etc. Great place to solve problems quickly

Best prices you will find. If not too busy also best help.

Needed 7mm nitrile gloves. They have a huge selection of gloves so no problem getting what I needed.

Harbor Freight Tools was very clean. They had so many tools to choose from. The cashier was very friendly.

Cheap tools and cheap tools. You want to treat most tools you buy at Harbor Freight as "disposable." That being said, prices are mostly appropriate and I definitely don't shy away from the place. I frequently go on a shopping spree of flash lights, tool organizers, and small diagonal cutters (I make a lot of Ethernet cables). Staff is friendly and the store is well organized. Although, whenever there is an amazing price on a tools, it goes out of stock quickly. Nothing bad to say as long as you're aware of what your getting for the price. A trip to Harbor Freight is never a bad time and my wife will cringe whenever I ask to make a quick stop because it's never "quick."

Harbor frieght always has a vast selection of tools at decent prices. The staff are courteous and helpful. I enjoy shopping here.

I purchase a lot of stuff from this store. Never a problem and always very helpful. The staff is terrific. Rob, Cody, Brianna and the rest of the crew are always ready to help and very knowledgeable of the items they sell. Give it a shot, I know you will be happy here. This is the best Harbor Freight I have ever been to and I have shopped at most of the Long Island locations.

I have a couple of their battery powered drivers,
For the money I paid (under $20) I got a screw gun and flash light on a 14v battery I got it 2yrs ago thing still works great for quick little around the house fixes
I also have used the central machinery drill presses for actual machine shop more and was quite impressed but, its brand new. we will see long term how it holds up but if you were to be using it at home it's fine

This store and it's employees are great, always helpful and usually have what I'm looking for or will tell me if another store has it in stock

This place is like Toys R Us for men. Great value. Tools are good for home use, but not for commercial grade jobs. Staff is generally not knowledgeable on tool use and other matters, but if you know how to use what you are looking for, it is easy enough to find.

Great store for any handyman, weekend mechanic or professional.
Love me some Harbor Freight.

Such an enjoyable store to browse and look at all the things that they have. The staff couldn't be any more friendly and helpful. The staff at the Commack Harbor Freight store are number one thank you all for being so kind and polite and helpful

Good stock par level able to find what I wanted and the some, did have a wait for item to be brought to front, cashier and person who help load car very helpful and pleasant

Went there to buy an engine hoist. Was in and out in 5 minutes. Everyone was super helpful and the staff is very organized. They even brought it out to my truck. My wife was with me she couldn’t believe how good the service was.

Not high end tools but great prices if you're doing smaller projects or don't need the commercial quality. This location is clean and do far has a great staff that's can answer quick questions.

Harbor Freight and district manager Oscar went above and beyond with customer service. I am a long time customer and was in a uncomfortable position with a previous purchase. I am aware that over time things will change. I was not financially prepared for a change to a product. Oscar and Harbor Freight went out of there way to make it right. More than that I could not have asked for! Thank You Harbor Freight and Oscar!!!
