Dollar General

One of the newest and cleaner stores in area by far. This is in Rice. Everything is fronted on the shelves. Associates were always stocking when I came in. Polite and asked if I needed help with anything. They don't have any clothes. It has more cold/frozen food selection. Well done DG.

Quite convenient having this retailer right up the road. Staff friendly and helpful as usual. Both registers were opened once a cashier noticed the line was getting longer which helped us check out fast.

Tiffany the Cashier was extremely helpful in finding what I needed in a Covid safe, yet customer friendly manner. The store is always clean and has what I need.

There aren't many local country stores in the area now, this Dollar general serves ALOT of the community in Prince Edward, Nottoway and in Amelia. Large variety of items, its better than a country store but its not Wal-Mart. Very convenient!

I can find many staples here and this helps me not have to drive all the way into town. I bought a deep dish pan which I couldn't find at Lowe's or Walmart. They also carry dreft laundry detergent, so if I get in a pinch, this DG is only 1 mile from where I live.

So far so good, it is convenient new and clean, has everything one needs without driving an additional 10 minutes to the mega stores. I only wish they had produce lol.
