Luna Gifts & Botanicals

I’ve shopped here twice in the past week. I visit a lot of plant stores, and Luna has the most reasonable prices I’ve seen. I’ve interacted with several staff members as well and they are the sweetest people.

Customer service is amazing. Always willing to help find a plant and pot! Also will pot it for you which helps. Very knowledgeable and unique finds. My favorite shop around!

This shop is a true gem of gem city. I've been to so many plant shops I can't count and this is truly one of the best. They have a wide range of houseplants, at reasonable prices, and with plant names labeled well to boot (which is rather uncommon). They also have a good selection of other unique gift items. I'd say this a low-key high-class plant shop. Like, it's fancy yet accessible. Lovely goods and inviting warm smiles and conversation from those working there. Well done Luna! I can't wait to come back!!!

I get all of my plants from here! They have a great selection of vines, succulents, cacti and more!

This is a GREAT business, with a huge variety of plants and other fun and unique gifts. Love this place so much. I got two string of turtles plants and a gorgeous crystal today.

A very cute store that is a little gem! There is a lot of plants and vessels / pots. Not o ly that, they have other home goods / knickknacks. They also carry books and products for terrariums. Staff is friendly and helpful. We loved visiting and will definitely be returning soon! ♥

This place was so cool!! Many different varieties of airplants and so many succulents! The people were very very nice and friendly. It also had fun nick nacks and stickers.

Great little shop, was not expecting such a great selection of plants. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

The best place in Dayton for houseplants! They always have a wide variety of healthy plants. I have never seen/brought home any pests, which definitely can’t be said about the big box stores! Everything is reasonably priced, including the large mature plants. They often have some beautiful rare plants in stock too. The staff is always very helpful and will even send you home with plant care tips if needed!

this store was so pretty and smelled pleasant when you walked in. the workers are super sweet and kind. if you are into crystals, like me, then this is a great store for you to go!! each tumbled crystal is $1 pretty awesome if you ask me. and you can fill a small black bag with lots of tumbled OR raw crystals for only $10! and the plants they have are beautiful. i highly recommend trying out this awesome store! :) the photo i added is all the crystals i was able to fit into the bag when they say FILL your bag as much as you can!! i got two raw ones and i’m in love <3 but back to the point, you should visit there if you want/able too:)

Look, I’m a raging plant lady and absolutely love Luna. But this review goes even deeper. Today at the Brightside Bazaar my 5 year old daughter approached the Luna booth on her own and said “I want a plant for my playroom but it doesn’t get light”

It really could have ended there with simple suggestion of what to buy. But no, Savannah got down at eye level with her to talk about what plant would be best and helped her pick the perfect little snake plant and owl planter. She even told her how to check the dirt in order to know when to water her new baby.

As someone who struggles with shyness and feeling ever so slightly socially awkward, words can’t even express how grateful I am for this encounter. Thank you for not only helping my daughter become a plant lady (she promptly explained when we need to water her new baby), but thank you for your help in giving her the confidence to navigate the world of talking to people in general. You are the best!

I'm new to the Dayton area and I am SO stoked to be living by the cutest local plant shop! Luna Botanicals is a beautiful store. They have a wonderful selection of succulents and other house plants. Their inventory is well taken care of. They also have super cute jewelry! I got the Scout turquoise earrings along with 3 plants. After a month, I'm still very pleased with it all. The employee's at Luna's are super friendly and knowledgable. Thank you, Luna Botanicals!!! I'll be back. :-)

I went to Luna for the first time today and it’s so perfect! I think I liked every single thing in the store, it was all just so cute! I was so so so impressed with the ladies working though. I brought my toddler with me and he was… energetic? Hahahaha. They were still so nice to us, even though he was kinda being a b hole 😬 One lady even gave him a tray full of stuff to play with while we shopped. They made us all feel so welcome. I will 100% be back and I’ll tell everyone else to go! Huge fan of Luna!

These days you can buy plants just about anywhere. But kitschy plant themed gifts and other goodies people who like growing things might enjoy are harder to come buy. And while you can find lots of the same pothos you'd buy at the grocery store here, they also have more unique specimens. Plus I just like buying plants from real people who love plants, not supermarket chains that over/under water and leave them out in the cold. Luna is just a relaxing and fun place to browse.

If they expanded their tarot selection to more diverse decks I'd call this store perfect!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Their store is clean and the plant selection is very diverse; all of the plants are well taken care of & happy! I just found my favorite botanical shop in Dayton! I highly recommend taking a visit here if you get a chance!

I wanted to leave a review now even though we went back in February! Dayton is awesome and Luna is definitely one of the best places to check out. I bought a beautiful jade pothos in a hanging basket for honestly much less than I would have expected to pay for it, and a couple crystals as well. The store is lovely, the prices are good, the employee was friendly and helpful, and we’ll definitely be back once this whole thing clears up! 🥰

I’ve been purchasing plants and other odds + ends from Luna since they opened, and I ABSOLUTELY love them! This plants are a little more expensive than other retailers, but they’re also a higher quality than those same retailers. But not just that- anytime and I mean ANYTIME I have plant care questions, the staff are more than helpful. This shop is hands down my favorite small business in Dayton, and I’ll forever support them!

Love the variety of plants, decorations, jewelry and accessories. Could redecorate my whole home in this store alone (minus pictures and furniture).. was also thrilled to find their quality raw and polished stones collection. My teenage daughter has been into them lately and truly enjoyed the "Fill the Bag" polished stones they had for a great price. I know I will be back many times in the future.

I used to live in San Francisco, then Portland, I have missed the West Coast every day since I’ve been here. This shop was the first thing, that made me feel less homesick. The staff was immediately inviting and I found the prices very reasonable considering the quality of the houseplants they provided. I found many rare plants, along with healthy specimens of more fragile plants which lets me know they care for the plants properly. Well worth a visit!
