All Weather Selvedge

I have put their denim through the wringer. Taken countless falls skating, climbing, car accidents and have seen almost no damage whatsoever. No holes rips or tears but plenty of fades. The quality is up there with the greats. The only thing that got damaged was my patch which is to be expected with how hard I wear my jeans. Selvedge Id is beautiful and look fantastic cuffed and dressed up. Andre is extremely knowledgeable and helpful! Knows all his info on where everything from where and how it's made. Very cool stuff honestly highly recommend.

The new AW Jeans store is aesthetically pleasing inside. The staff is top notch and knowledgeable of Japanese denim. If you haven’t had an opportunity to pay a visit and you’re looking for a nice pair of jeans I highly recommend stopping here first. The details are amazing!

The tom ripe pants were my third pair of jeans from this store and compared to any of my other jeans that i have, these denim jeans have kept their shape through wash and wear. They feel like im putting them on for the first time every time and just the perfect amount of snug and room to move around. The jeans ( DK shin and AW workers ) are excellent quality. I dont think ill find another place that can deliver jeans that i love compared to this store.

His jeans are not just unique, they are a genuine work of art. Andre is also extremely passionate about his craft and it shows as he talks about the jeans history, construction and nuisances you probably have not heard from small batch denim shops.

The sizes and style are unique and what's great is he knows how to match you to what fits and looks good.

AW's are on the same stage as G-Star, Allsaints, or any of your favorite raw denim. But it's one thing to go into jean shop and just be handed your size and another to be handed the story before your size.

Extremely high quality denim. I bought a pair of Tom Raws from Andre the first week they opened and I was very impressed not just with the pants but the customer experience. Andre was friendly and knowledgeable about the 3 different fabrics on offer for men (I really liked hearing him nerd out about the fabrics). His store is small but everything is laid out in a way that makes sense according to fabric and wash. The fade on the Raws is slowly coming along and it will continue to do so. Picked up a pair of Brad Ripes from the store again some months later for something different and no matter what I always look great in my AW's. So I'll probably be back sometime soon for George's....just not sure about raw or ripe!

AW Selvedge Denim Co. is a relative newcomer in the premium denim game, but deserves a lot of credit for getting it right, from the start.

The raw denim options they provide are good middleweight fabrics. Heavy enough to feel like a real upgrade over fast fashion “mall jean” alternatives BUT not so heavy that they’re cumbersome or daunting to someone just getting acclimated to raw selvedge denim. Veteran denimheads can appreciate this weight as well, as they’re in that sweet spot for year round wear in all but the most extreme climates.

The pants seem to be very well made. Again, a substantial upgrade over what you might pick up off the rack at Macy’s. In my opinion, you’re getting a high quality pant at a very reasonable price point. I wouldn’t be surprised to see these pants at a much higher price some day. Andre’s punching significantly above his weight in this category.

The cut is a flattering taper that looks modern, but is still very comfortable. You can tell these pants were designed by a professional running back as they’re roomy in the thighs and hips without being too baggy.

Who should buy these pants?
- Anyone, but specifically someone looking to upgrade their jeans over typical mall fashion jeans. Your favorite American Eagle jeans don’t even begin to compare.
- folks that like a modern profile jean but need a little extra room in the top block and thighs.
- folks that appreciate selvedge denim
- folks that appreciate raw denim
- folks that appreciate unsanforized (NOT pre-shrunk) denim.
- folks that like to buy products from black-owned businesses.
- folks that want a premium product but can’t break their budget on more expensive offerings of other better known premium denim brands.

I highly recommend a pair of AWs to anyone interested in raw denim. I think they a great “starter pair” but they’d compliment even a seasoned denimhead’s wardrobe, nicely.

Size down one waist size from your typical Levi’s size if you want them fitted. Buy your regular size if you’d prefer them a little loose!

The jeans are extremely comfortable and fits me like a glove . I highly recommend purchasing the jeans !

My wife won the instore mini golf challenge so I thought I try some jeans on and maybe get some, too. The jeans were fitting perfectly! I very rarely have that, being tall and all. Can definitely recommend!

The quality is top notch, there’s a lot more depth to the colors and styles than many of the higher end denims, each piece is one of a kind…… but above all of that the customer service was above and beyond anything I’ve ever dealt with, Andre and Tyler both went above and beyond to make sure I had the right style and fit , even making a trip to my house to hand deliver my online order and make sure I was satisfied , I highly recommend this denim and make sure you stop in the shop and meet them personally , they’re great people , I’ll be a customer for life
