Kroger

Good service and great selection. This was my first time at this Kroger in Garland and had a positive experience. The store is clean and well-organized, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I especially appreciate that they offer cash back at the self-checkout, which is a great convenience. I went in to get cash out and BOOM, got it done in 5 minutes.

Pros:

Cons:
- Some shelves were disorganized
- Weird smell in the Deli and Bakery areas

Overall, I would recommend this Kroger 👍

I went this morning to the floral area for help with a bouquet for a friend whose dad passed. I believe her name was Linda at the desk, she was very helpful and kind. She put together a lovely bouquet for me that my friend greatly appreciated. Thank you guys for your wonderful customer service!

My wife and I been coming here for 4 years. We've never had any problems. Love the savings. And the checker at the end is always nice and helpful.

I’m giving a 5 only because of Paul. Paul was yelled at by customers, and he still remained positive and helpful to everyone. From 8:30-9:05 he was working the entire store by himself. None of the other employees on the shift were anywhere to be found. Then all of them came out of somewhere at the same time. Paul seriously deserves a promotion. He did great at managing his composure, customer service, and was so kind throughout it all. I needed a pregnancy test, and I asked a person in a red vest ( when they finally came out) he said he was on lunch break. Understandable but not every employee on the shift should be on break at the same time. Paul helped me, but I really am just so proud of his composure! Good job Paul ! 👏🏼 not so much to all of the other employees on the shift. It’s all about team work!

I recently had 2 major abdominal surgeries and was on my way home from my Dr appointment when I decided to stop here to see if they had a better selection of vegan items than the Kroger closer to my home. Not only did they have my favorite brand of veggie hotdogs, they had a larger selection of frozen dinners than my regular store. As I mentioned, I am recovering from surgery, and between the heat outdoors (109°) the day I was there (7/19/2022), and my weakened state, by the time I arrived at the front of the store to check out, I wasn't feeling all that great. The only checkout open had a long line, and I felt close to passing out, so I went to the self checkout. I was bagging my purchase when the employee working there noticed that I wasn't feeling well and asked if I was okay. I told her no, and explained my circumstances. She promptly helped me complete my transaction, and offered to help me to my car. I told her that wasn't necessary, but she told the other employee working with her she would be right back, and made sure I made it to my car safely. Her name was Robin, I made sure to get her name so I could properly give her credit in my review. She was phenomenal, and needs to be recognized for going above and beyond. Thank you, Robin!

Kroger or Bakers as I call them being from Nebraska always have the best everything. The Forney location is legit the best one. Has a clothing and shoe department. The people are friendly and nice.

Great prices on ham right now (12/2023)

Shopping here for years, friendly cashier's, pharmacy friendly. The shelves were fully stocked and look immaculate. Every can in order on the shelf . The fruit was fresh and looked very good! What a wonderful change!

Currently great sale for up coming Thanksgiving!!

We are staying in a nearby motel for the weekend and needed to get groceries for the upcoming week on the road. We used Kroger's delivery service (teamed with instacart, I believe) and it was fantastic. Yolanda was our awesome shopper! She was super responsive and communicated any issues with the order over text. She then delivered right to our room. This service made our stop over in Dallas so much better!

The current loyalty card gas discounts more than outweigh the slight overhead costs of the products you buy here. Their store brand items are usually excellent. Bathroom could use some more regular cleaning or stronger disinfectant.

Never walked in with out a greet or a hello. Always friendly and will walk you to what you may be looking for. Low prices but not low quality. May have to buy a few for a good deal but sometimes it's worth it. Quick checkouts or self service options. Parking always seems full though even if the store isn't. Store is always clean.

We are without transportation, my husband is disabled and I am very hard of hearing. We are so very thankful for the selection your wonderful store has and we're so happy to once again be Kroger customers (long story)! We do very much like the Instacart shopper's communication as they shop--something that Walmart does not provide! We're about to have our 2nd delivery order brought to us later today and we very much look forward to it! We also wanna shout out BIG thanks to ALL OF YOUR STAFF for your continued work through this scary pandemic AND making Kroger the great store it is! 😻 😻

WOW this visit couldn't have gone better! Great fresh fruit and veggies. Deli has just about every item you can think of. Good selection of wines and beer. Clean restrooms and friendly checkout personnel. Bag kiddos are sweet as they can be. Way to knock it out of the Park Kroger

This is by far my favorite place to shop for groceries. The meat and produce here are always stocked with fresh items. Unlike Walmart, they have people who work the meat counter and do not truck these items in after they have been stored for who knows how long. Always a clean store with employees that are willing to help. This Keoger store is great.

My experience at Kroger tonight was great. Tonight was the last day for the weekly sale and I save over 40.00. Can't wait to see what next week sale look like. Keep up the good work Krogers.

Second time going into this Kroger, only one I’ve been to; and the experience was good. Very neat, clean, & everything was stocked. Cashier was very helpful & friendly. I’ve always passed up Kroger just going to Walmart or Albertsons, but I definitely will be shopping at Kroger from now on.

Kroger is my go-to grocery for meats and this location usually has a good selection for reasonable prices. Most staff are friendly. Can get a little crowded inside around the check out areas but it's not a bad location. Better than the Walmarts nearby
