THIS IS THE BEST Dollar General, I going back just to pictures to show my family.. We grew up shopping at dollar General. In the Detroit area (I should get you pics) makes me want to move up here.. very welcoming ,organized, had everything (milk) and so much more.. Great staff

The dollar general on Michigan and waverly is by far my favorite around town. The employees are so kind and always helpful! I have stayed to chat with one specific employee for almost 30 minutes, she’s just so friendly and welcoming! Definitely recommend this store 😊

Like all DG, a bit on the messy side, DG please hire a few more staff. But a great stop for general items.

The experience was wonderful, the young lady who helped me, I believe she is the manager. She went out of her way to help me. I was purchasing s phone for my dad and didn't know how to set it up. She took time out her day to do that for me and I appreciated it so much.

This Dollar General that used to be on Saginaw highway is now on the corner of Waverly and Michigan avenue. It is the old family video store location. Got to love this place lots of things here are for $1. Too many items to mention. There's plenty of parking. The employees when I was there we're very friendly and helpful.

Great layout but slightly cramped. A much better setup than the former family video though. Everything is visually appealing. Has a bit of everything here but some things other dollar generals don't. Easy to access location.

I don't usually make it to this location. I got good savings on 2-2 pound bags on navy beans. I'm writing this today because of the nice young man behind the counter. Take care of him, DG. Good help is hard to find.

Cashiers are always polite and very friendly.I just wish they would carry more than just chicken and turkey friskies canned cat food need to have different flavors like beef and so on. I have a very picky cat

Clean store, clear aisles, always stocked. Love this store. Manager is the Best.

They do a good job of keeping things stocked and in order there. The staff has always been polite to me. I have no complaints!

The lady ( my opologies, i didnt catch her name ...but she was working the Saturday before Easter Sunday) that i see most working at this Dollar General location is AWESOME! She always goes above and beyond for the customers. I have 2 great examples: i was getting mylar balloons filled that Saturday afternoon for my granddaughters 3rd bday party and they were quite busy. I had my granddaughter asleep on my shoulder and my hands obviously FULL! This woman walked me to my car and helped me get the balloons in and kept them in the car while i got the baby back in her car seat! Another day the same lady insisted on covering my overage on my total (again i had my granddaughter) and she pulled out her own change purse frim behind the counter and covered over 2 dollars of my total and also had clipped a coupon that applies to my order! Talk about fantastic customer service! SHE IS IT! %100 ID LIKE TO THANK HER PERSONALLY ONCE I GET HER NAME FINALLY! LOL

Always very helpful and friendly :) the blond woman (I think the manager) is always making sure you find everything okay, and making sure there isn't anything she can helo you with.

We love this "messy" Dollar Store. We(my granddaughter and i) search for kids toys all throughout the store and it's a lot of fun!
