This place has the best coffee around a 100 miles.
Cappuccinos are to die for, and espresso is as good as in the best cafes in Italy (and I know what I'm talking about) !
Super recommended !!!

Redpoint has been my absolute favorite spot for gear, hangs, and drinks before/after/during Smith. The customer service is so genuine, I always leave this place feeling happier. Thank you Redpoint for being such an amazing community resource.

Super cool store climbing with gear to meet every need. Hire a guide if new to the area or ask about beta. Need a beer after climbing? They've got your back! Relax after climbing with some great brews on tap!

Really excited about the renovations! The shop seems to be thriving under new ownership. The coffee is great, there's always good beer and kombucha on tap, gear relevant to Smith being in stock isn't a problem anymore (e.g. tape, stick clips, guide books, cams, etc.), and the employees are super friendly.

If you're climbing at Smith, be sure to stop in before for your climbing needs and afterwards for a beer and good company!

This place is great. It sells all the climbing necessities and is located right outside the Smith Rock. What's better than a climbing shop right next to a climbing mecca? Glad you asked. How about a climbing shop that serves coffee in the morning, rents stick-clips all day, and fills beer Growlers for your post climbing brew? Oh yeah, the workers are all lovely people.

Good coffee, great service. The climbing shop has everything you need if you forget something or if your stuff breaks. They rent out gear too. Will visit again next time we climb at Smith!

This place is unique! I don't recall any other place where I've had good barista coffee, local craft beer and then was offered to join a really great yoga session. Oh, and yes I did buy some climbing gear for a really fair price.
Thank you Danielle, for the wonderful yoga session and being a great host. If you ever come back to Tahoe, give me a call! Jessica! thank you for the encouragement and advice!

Amazing spot with the greatest staff I have ever met. They spent a good hour with us to help us plan out our Smith Rock adventure. The beer was very affordable with a great selection. Would highly recommend.

Nice selection of craft beers, good coffee and tea. Very friendly staff and good crowd. Great place to stop for a cuppa in the morning on the way out to Smith Rock, and for a beer at the end of a climbing day. Hold some climbing gear. Free wifi and board games. Highly recommended.

The place to stop at if you happen to forget anything for Smith Rock. One thing they ran out of though was stick clips, and while you don't absolutely need a stick clip, there is a reason they are in high demand (hint hint). They have a few snacks here and beer on tap but you will have to go elsewhere for real food. They are generous enough to let you use their facilities for warming up food or such and the staff are super nice!

Incredible place. It has almost all things that climbers would need except for a place to sleep! They have coffee and many beers on tap to sup on while you plan your yours at Smith Rock. They have couches and a TV to watch your favourite climbing movies and they even have a fingerboard so you can do a quick hang session. They also have magazines and books to peruse. They rented us the Smith Rock guide book for a very fair price which was really convenient as we may not be back frequently enough to require owning it. I would highly recommend people stopping here to get all of the information you may need to play in Smith Rock.

Very reasonable rental prices.

***They rent guides too!***

Tasty coffee and a great selection of kombucha. Didn't grab a beer but they had a fair selection. Super lucky that this place exists.

Great and knowledgeable staff, a hub for climbers looking to replace gear or expand their arsenal before the next adventure. Plus, they serve coffee AND beer, and also rent out guides and stick clips. They're friends you don't know yet if you've never been.
