Game Kastle Santa Clara has won my loyalty with their outstanding customer service and fair pricing. The convenience of purchasing a physical copy of a board game at retail value, without the dreaded wait time from shipping with Amazon, is a game-changer. Most other physical stores often charge a premium, but Game Kastle keeps their prices reasonable. The staff is not only friendly but also impressively knowledgeable. They gladly provide recommendations, making the shopping experience enjoyable and informative. While the only downside I've noticed is the occasional lack of sales on popular board games, the overall positive experience far outweighs this minor drawback. Game Kastle Santa Clara has become my go-to destination for board game purchases, and I highly recommend it to fellow enthusiasts seeking excellent service and fair deals.

This place is tabletop game madness! The staff here is friendly and super helpful with a plethora of knowledge that they’re willing to share about all of the games in the store. There are multiple areas to play in, some that are free and others that are available to reserve and rent. They have a schedule full of fun and interesting things to do in the store that is updated regularly. The facilities are kept clean and tidy, and the shelves stocked. If you’re looking to get miniatures for your game night or a gift for someone who likes boardgames, this is the place to go.

It's a lovely little store with plenty of gaming space. The staff is knowledgeable the store is clean and they normally have an abundance of product. That is provided you go there before the Black Friday sale. LOL

Stumbled upon this place. I’m not into card games and what not but this place had a really neat collection of usual and unsual games. All staff was real friendly, place had a great vibe. Next time I stop I’ll be sure to not be on foot and get myself a cool board game or something.
I wish there were more places like this

I think this is my third time here. Every time I am out here visiting relatives, they bring me here. I finally signed up for their free tier club, so at least I can earn points (which hopefully won't expire). They have a decent selection of games. This most recent visit was also the day they had a flea market where people would rent a table and sell their own games. We thought we were getting there early, before it opened at 10, wrong! The line was already out the parking lot almost to the street, in fact I think it did go around the neighboring building. The parking lot was filled, but there is street parking on a street that is thankfully not that busy, although I wouldn't just open a car door without looking first.
This time, we found some unique games. My relative bought me one and gave it to me before I drove out. When she went to get a copy for herself they no longer had it :(. I found a nice dice roller tray that folds flat plus a nifty card tray.
When I first came here in 2017 there was just empty gravel lots across the street, now there are 5+ story buildings of either apartments or office space. This area is much busier than it used to be.
I'll definitely come back next time I am in the area.

If you like board games, miniature painting, or card games, there's no better place! I love the fact that periodic events are hold at the store, like Magic tournaments or D&D sessions.

They also have a vast section of discounted items and the staff is very friendly.

Would highly recommend to check them out with your group of friends or for a family game night.

The parking in front of the store is not too big, so you might have to park next door on busy days.

The best game store we've ever been to. If you like strategy games or miniature wargaming, you'll find what you need here. A large selection of board games, Pokémon, wargaming figures, paints, basing and flocking materials, terrain, etc. Large rooms for in-house gaming. We came to Game Kastle every week to get in a couple of games. This is the place to go if you're an RPG player. Highly recommended.

A very reliable place to get the games you need. I have tried twice to get board games from Target but they never seem to have what I want even if they are classics. I was able to call the game kastle and do a one day hold on the games I needed. Great little shop with knowledgeable and approachable staff.

Gem! Spacious warehouse that sells boardgames and has a selection of boardgames you can test out for free! We also bought a few games from them and noticed their price is comparable to what's sold online. Friendly staff is a big bonus.

Great place, very wide selection and occasionally you'll find rare stuff. Game Kastle has a great points system that has given me some pretty hefty discounts. Parking is a little sparse on game days.

Holy cow this place has so many modeling supplies. I absolutely love their inventory. They also have a huge gaming space. The staff was very nice to me and we joked around a little bit. A great place for tabletop hobbyists and board gamers.

Decent selection of board games. Definitely a miniatures oriented game store. Nice selection of paints and miniature/war game style items. Large back room for use of warhammer and similar games which was very impressive. Smaller selection of card games and little but sufficient table space for such games. Overall nice store with friendly staff.

This is a long overdue review. This place is fantastic for D&D gatherings and other gatherings for games. Our D&D group typically meets up there once a week and I cannot stress enough how helpful the staff are there. They want you to be happy and they make sure you're situated happily by helping you setup tables and chairs and ensuring you enjoy your stay. They have a small snack section with most snacks being $1 or $2 for drinks, it really is fantastic pricing when you're living in their for hours. And a good wide selection.
As for actual items in the store, we ended up all getting our figures there. And if you want something in particular, just ask them and they can order it for you free and you can come pick it up and pay when it's in. They have a HUGE selection of games, rpgs, board games, the whole lot. They also have games on site that you can play with your friends if you just ask them.
So yeah, I'd say this is the best place to nerd out. Friendly staff and fantastic accommodations!
