St. John's Bar & Grill

This place is great! Their food is delicious! Burgers are so flavorful and juicy 😋 Their bacon cheese fries as well. The fries in the picture have blue cheese in it, delicious as well!! Tried the Cajun fries for the 1st time, and they were delicious!

St. John’s Bar & Grill is a small little joint hidden in a plaza in Lawrence Expy, found this place while looking for a burger joint close to home and was not disappointed! Good spot, nice beer selections at the bar with a couple of TVs to watch sports.
Food was awesome, had a Garlic Blue cheese burger and my companion had the cheeseburger, both great, tasty and best of all, very reasonable prices. Give this place a try next time you are around the Costco area in Lawrence Expy

It's been at least a decade since I've been here. The burgers, the fries. The drinks have all gone up in price as things have. I ended up getting the Cajun burger which was very good and split fries with my friend. We arrived around 5:00 and it wasn't too crowded and were able to find a seat outside but it got busier around 7:00 or so. Parking was easy to get as there's a nice large parking lot.

I've come twice so far and it's become one of my favorite places. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and excellent food. I've enjoyed the jalapeno cheese steak, the hickory burger, and the fries and onion rings. Great place to enjoy a pitcher of beer with friends as well.

It is sad to see St. John's 1/2 empty on a Saturday during lunchtime. The last time I came here was before the pandemic. The routine was, we used to walk around Fry's Electronics and then have lunch here. I remember, it was hard to get a table, let alone one near a TV. So much has changed since then. The food remains good. My lunch today was a blue cheese burger $13.50 and garlic fries $7.50. Wonderful flavors. That dipping sauce station with the curry ketchup and yellow sauce is bomb. Although there are many new faces, the workers are still friendly. I'm not sure why St. John's isn't busier. Maybe it's because the daily specials are gone. Those were awesome and we would come on different days of the week to take advantage of them. Burger day was Saturdays!

This is one my favorite places to go for hamburger. Great selection of them to choose from at a reasonable price. They are always fresh. I have never been disappointed with food or service. Sometimes very crowded, worth the wait. They have much more than burgers and have adult drinks. It is a must try place.

Came here to have dinner on a week day. Very busy and had a lot of people at the bar. They have a great selection of craft beer and full bar for cocktails. The food was very bar like but tasty. Can't wait to go back to try the other beers they offer.

Nut allergy friendly, they don't use any except in one salad.

Awesome portions (basket of fries are easily sharable among 2-3 people) and a burger cooked perfectly medium rare. Highly recommend as a place to hang out with friends, watch sports, or grab a beer. Kegs are tapped on Thursday so if you're looking for something rarer like the Pliny the Elder, it'll only be available then.

Oh BABY! The best burgers in the Bay Area. I've been coming here on and off and on for 30 years or more. If only semiconductor/LED fabs could stick around for that long. 🤣🤣🤣 My faves are in the picture, a Cajun burger and onion rings. A good selection of beer on tap too. 👍👍👍

Excellent sports bar atmosphere with great food choices. The philly cheese steak varieties are delicious and the beer selection keeps me coming back. The Hickory Burger is definitely the best burger in the menu though.

Great place Great ambience, reminds me of the early silicon valley days, because this is where I used to eat in the early 2000s.

Try their Beg for Mercy cheeseburgers, And if you like ask them to grill the onions and add mushrooms to it. That's my favorite...

I'll tell you a secret..If you need to find me on a Thursday night-This is the place where I would be!!

I have been going to St. Johns for literally 5 weeks in a row now and haven’t gotten out of this place not-happy even once 😍 this place has become our weekly date night spot now! The food is fabulous , great service and ofcourse superb drink choices.

The chicken burgers are okay-3.5/5 but rest of the menu is great! Highlight is their garlic fries, they are amazing! The quantity is as great as the food 😍

The inside of St. John's gives a community vibe. You can tell that most people inside was a regular and this was my first time here. The barbeque chicken special was amazing. There was so much flavor and I can't believe how soft and tender the meat was considering it was grilled. I just wish it was hotter when I received it. The fries that came with it was also less than lukewarm. I'm not sure what happened there. The burger was also really solid.

There is something about old fashioned bars and burger joints that attracts me. My cousin recommended this place for dinner, and it did not disappoint. Had a good-sized burger and fries and good ol' Dr Pepper.

Best burgers around by far. Poppers and chicken tenders are also good, better than most. Honey mustard is also better than most. Atmosphere could be a little brighter, but is fine, and sometimes they get packed and line takes awhile. Always come back for the burgers though.

Food was delivered quickly & was delicious. We have been there many times and the burgers are always exceptional. Only slight negative...restaurant needs more cashiers. There is always a line to order and the cashier does everything.

Wow! Such an old school vibe with great service. Half off deals everyday, enjoying half off cheese steak for Monday night football ! Burgers are their specialty including Kobe burgers. Place is usually pretty busy but we got seats before kick off and really were pampered with great service even though it was so busy. Definitely a place to try out.

Fries were different and flavourful. Order was out quickly, place was busy. My chicken was moist, but my friend's was dried.

One of the best on the West Coast. There menu's are Personalize. And they let you personalize your order. My favorite is the Bleu cheese bacon burger. Can't wait to try the BLT. It's always a home run.
