Costco Wholesale

Costco Wholesale offers a wide range of products, but the high traffic can be a drawback for quick entry and exit. Overall, the shopping experience and offerings are satisfactory.

I recommend Costco on Coleman Ave in Santa Clara. Getting into the parking lot and working your way around the roundabout requires patience, but once you enter the store, it's a great experience. Great merchandising on the floor makes it easy to find the items featured in the sale booklets. Also, on certain days, you can taste samples before you buy. The lines at checkout are reasonable, I have never found them to be too long, like at other Costcos. And when you only have a few items, self-checkout is a breeze. The crew are friendly and the store is clean. Gassing up is smooth, with a clear flow of cars into and out of the gas pump area. I would recommend avoiding peak times, but even then, the wait to get to a pump isn't too bad.

Same as any other Costco - you go in needing one thing and leave with two shopping carts.
Consider yourself warned.

The tire center staff here is also really nice. (I've only purchased a battery so far.)

Had an amazing experience at my neighborhood Costco. The variety of options is impressive, especially the selection of nice European cookies that caught my eye. The prices across the board are fantastic, with lots of discounts making it a great value shopping experience. Most of the time, the employees are super helpful and friendly, adding to the overall positive vibe. If you’re looking for a place with a great selection, excellent prices, and friendly service, this Costco is definitely worth a visit.

I'm so happy they made the change to the parking lot and added the round about. It was super busy when I went today and seeing all of the cars at the round about was intimidating, but it went by so smooth and so fast. I remember have to sit and wait for a long time at that 4 way stop. I wouldn't reccomended parking anywhere near the round about when it's busy because it gets jammed up but at least the flow has improved.

This place is not crowded and clean compared to Sunnyvale. Just because of that we will take the extra 10min to go to this one in the future. The food is placed inside compare to outside at Sunnyvale. The line for food was impressive the day I was there. The entrance for car is very chaotic similar to Sunnyvale.

They always have discounted prices for most of the stuff especially liquor. Good store most of the stuff is in stock and not too much crowded. Checkout lines can be long on weekends. Parking is manageable. Gasoline is also not too occupied.

Great place and great staff aside from the occasional run in with a disgruntled employee who wants to be super inspector. These are one offs though. Staff are usually extremely helpful and very service oriented

I want to thank Anibal from tire department for being patient and helpful. He gave great customer service while helping my parents ordering new tires for their car. It was during a busy time and Anibal was very patient. Thanks again.

I have been visiting this place since last four years. Earlier, they have front side gas station which is moved to back side but that move didn’t help to improve much parking problem. But anyway, I love Costco be it any location because of great value for money and service they provide.

Costco has almost everything which needs on monthly basis, grocery items, entertainment passes , travel packages, rental car deals electronic items ... etc and this year they are started sales of couple MacBook which is good addition

I almost purchase quit good amount of books from here. In general prices are great (especially on sale)
The staff is great here. It can be difficult to find things when they move stuff around.

Lemme honestly about one thing, it doesn't make sense to me that prior to entering the store you show your Costco card, then prior to pay for your goodies@ the register you have to show your card again to be scanned. Really? Why don't they scan the card at the entrance in the first place?

Hello, Costco managerial peeps....it isn't Rick science to fix this ... listen to your customers.....Scan the customers card by the entrance,and save everyone's time.

This is one of my favorite Costco and I usually go at 8.00 pm before it close at 8:30 pm . The line is shorter and after shopping, I will top up my gas.

Update : dec 2020 and they have bounty paper towel now

Always fun to just stroll through the aisles and end up buying stuff you thought you never needed. ;)

My go to Costco. Friendly people work here. The people answering the phones are always friendly too. Gas lines are typically short to 9 minute wait. Registers and checkout is usually quick with two on a register.
There's a main road into the main parking lot. Don't park in those lanes. I never understood why people do it because it will be very hard to leave.

A newly built roundabout at the entrance keeps traffic flowing nicely. There’s a few ways to go around the gas station too.

Last couple times I’ve come shopping here I haven’t had to wait in a line. Just walked right up and paid. So nice.

My husband and I have been Executive Costco members For many years now. This store offers so many great deals, top quality products and customer service, and an awesome food court!!! I can't think of anything I have ever bought at Costco (grocery or product) that has been disappointing. We buy our groceries, household items including furniture, gift cards, shoes, clothing, under clothing, electronics, we get pics developed (best quality I have ever had my pictures print out!) dog treats, toiletries, every vacation deal or package deal we always go through Costco to book it because we never find a better deal and we've always been more than satisfied with no issues! Not to mention what we save buying in bulk at their prices!
We have come to use and rely on it so much that the 2% back we receive For every purchase actually pays for our membership renewal each year plus an excess amount of at least $150 that we get as a cash card toward our next purchase or money! Now that I've said my peace about it, I'll get to my review, which is focused on the food court. They have a select and consistent item menu and I've tried everything on it. Our favorite is the hot dog (which is enormous and is $1.50 with a drink!) and their turkey provolone sandwich which is packed with sliced turkey and melted provolone cheese, tomato, and onions on a ciabatta bun foe $3.99 (delicious!) The hot dog is huge, thick, juicy, flavorful and probably the best hot dog I have ever had! The sandwich is always warm with a soft but lightly toasted ciabatta bun and the meat is always tender and juicy with the tomato and onions giving it that simple but great added flavor! The fountain drinks, which go for 69 cents if you buy independently, are Coke products and free refills! If anyone can tell me where you can get a fountain drink with free refills for 69 cents, I'm all ears! It just doesn't exist anymore! Finally, the Very Berry sundae! Yogurt that is creamy vanilla with a gelatto like texture, topped with strawberries and strawberry sauce! It reminds me of a gelatto short cake (if that makes any sense!) I had one and now every time we go, I have the hardest time leaving without one because I know what I'm missing and it's tragic!
The sundae runs $2.99 I believe!!!
Hurry, go now, and GET A MEMBERSHIP!!!
First time or new customers, especially singles, who are not going for a lot of bulk items can get a Premier membership for $60 for the year!

A great place to find hard to get 49er’s goods….and pick a slice of pizza!
