A true local family owned area treasure. Although you can order online, I enjoy stopping in to the store to get some fresh made popcorn. I think all the flavors are great but the cheese popcorn is amazing.

I’m a huge popcorn fan, so when my boyfriend and I decided to take a weekend trip to KC I begged him to stop at Velvet Crème Popcorn Co. I had read a lot about their store and amazing popcorn on Pinterest. I see what everyone was ranting and raving about! Velvet crème’s popcorn is some of the best popcorn I’ve ever had! We splurged and got a tin of cheese, butter, and Carmel corn. The Carmel corn isn’t as hard as most Carmel corn I’ve had and doesn’t stick in your teeth as bad. Their sour cream & onion popcorn is fantastic! I just ordered a bag off of their website because i am unable to get to their store to pick a bag up myself. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well.

Always great popcorn plus other candy, trail mixes, popcorn supplies etc. They are always polite and being they have been around for 80 years well organized. 12/15/2018 was my visit today and since close to Christmas they were very busy but even with only a few employees out front they were handling things very efficiently.

I can eat popcorn regardless of what time it is and this place makes it really easy! I love combining the flavors of popcorn like Sour Cream & Onion with Habanero Cheese...you can't go wrong. They even have sweet flavors that you won't be able to stop eating. Go grab a bag immediately!

Raving over the popcorn we’d received in our welcome baskets placed in our hotel rooms…I knew I found my people! Every blogger on this trip LOVES popcorn, and vote it should be a food group. We were thrilled to stop at Velvet Creme Popcorn to stock up for the rest of our trip and way home.
Be sure to sample any flavors you are thinking about getting -- I loved them ALL! My only regret is that I didn't buy MORE.

Best buttered popcorn, in my opinion! Other favorites are their white chocolate almond popcorn and dark chocolate covered pretzels! Happy Holidays!

Received the 3-1/4 gallon decorative buttered/cheese/caramel popcorn tin as a personal out of state Christmas gift and promptly put your information in my Contacts for future reference. The tin arrived full, all the way up to the top, so that as soon as I peeled the tape securing the tin lid, I could smell the yumminess inside. Each flavor was so delicious & I knew your company name was named velvet creme for good reason as your popcorn melted in my mouth. So impressed with Quality (great value and not many piece crumbs remaining at bottom of tin when reached and zero unpopped kernals and tin itself is very festive). Wish I lived closer to come by weekly. Great gift idea for both personal movie nights & business gift purposes. Order for yourself, your family, & your clients today!
