Dong Khanh Market

A little Vietnamese store with an unexpectedly wide range of goods.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and even if it could be a bit pricy, having a business like this in the area is really convenient. From what I've heard, the store changed ownership in April 2023.

They even offer Cafe Viet, which is becoming increasingly difficult to get (35 sachets for $11.99).

Gosh I stop by to buy some meat but the guy face who's cashiers looked so mad and scared. I gone there for buy not to beg for food. If he hate that job then stay home though...
Owner even WORST. Cut back to small amounts with same price. Its raises price. Buy little thong paid for too much because so expensive...Cẩn thận nhé mọi người, bà chủ mới kô thật thà chuyên môn tính lên giá, tính ăn gian. Price too expensive
They did cut off the quality of products, the lady in meat butcher SO RUDE, asked for good meat, she'd gave me the old meat so stinky.
Me now only Ca Mau market!

Love this store!!! Can get my Vietnamese ingredients without having to go to 99 Ranch or Chinatown. I feel it's mostly fresh things and people are very friendly. If you go on a Saturday or holiday, they have plenty of homemade foods that are SO good. Stream buns, Vietnamese bologna, corn pudding che, Vietnamese rice rolled filled with meat bun cuong, and more. The back of the store has fresh meat, cut to order. It's truly a hidden gem on the west side of Houston. Much prefer to go here than 99 (which I can trust the quality of their foods some times).

Small Vietnamese market with excellent products.
Lots of freshly made frozen stuff...they have a working kitchen where they make dumplings, and all kinds of Asiatic food.

It's good to have a small market near my house so I don't have to fight for parking spot and wait in line at the big Asian grocery market. This place have the best shredded pork ( bi) in town. Hands down.

This is a very interesting market. You can find all kinds of interesting things to make asian cuisine. They're small, but have a nice variety of meats, grocaries, and snacks.

Smallish market, family operated, very helpful and friendly management. They can't compete with big box volumes so they emphasize freshness, variety, service with a smile and bargain prices

This Salata is located in the tunnel system under Allen I at the corner of Dallas & Smith St in Downtown Houston, Texas.

Reopened on 6-2-18 after Hurricane Harvey destroyed the store in 2018. Store looks better than pre-Harvey and quality of grocery is still high.

A family owned local business and the owners and cashiers are really nice. They can helping you find anything fast by just asking them what you're looking for.

Great place to buy Vietnamese food. They have fresh homemade food that are good and closer than driving to bellaire.

Best place to find fresh frozen fish or any seafood. Asian fruits you can find it here too.
