Old Familiar Ways

This place is an absolute gem. I go there often to buy teas and the owner, Patty, is very knowledgeable and helpful with herbal remedies. I recommend this place all of the time to family and friends. The teas are delicious and so helpful particularly the cold and flu tea is a staple in our household during the winter months. The herbs you can buy in bulk there are fantastic and many can't be found in other local stores. I hope it'll be around for many years to come as it's a truly unique store which is what the world needs more of.

Locally owned, owner always in. Great teas, and interesting blends! So many things to see! Bulk herbs, unusual herbs, some metaphysical things, rocks, candles, incense. Smells wonderful in there 🥰 Go take a look!

I cannot say it strongly enough: I. LOVE. THIS. SHOP. The owner is a delight, the teas are nothing short of phenomenal, and you never know what you'll learn next by going in and just browsing and chatting. I miss living in Fairport just to be near! Metaphysical needs, herbal needs, tea needs, reading needs... she's got all of it. AND some kind words to boot!

If it’s an herb or herbal tea you need IT IS HERE! Nancy is an LPN and holistic healer I swear. Her hand poured candles are an obsession of mine and I can find my alternative medicine modalities here every time I go. The best part about this place is the conversation. The herbs are always potent and effective, her tea bags are non bleached organic material, she scours the earth for the highest quality ingredients for her signature skincare items and tinctures. Come flu season I swear by only her Elderberry syrup as does the entire town apparently bc she sells out so quickly. Crystals, literature, unique gifts can also be found here.

First time going here but definitely wont be the last! I love the online ordering option! Its so close to my house and I love the vibe in the store its so peaceful. The woman behind the counter was super nice and gave me a tea bag to try that was absolutely delicious. This is definitely my herb place from now on

Very beautiful shop, I could hardly keep myself from purchasing "just one more thing". A great selection with unbeatable prices on all things herbal. Super charged gemstones that are well handled and the energy of the entire store is one of peace and healing. A lot of local products. Cute and quaint little shop. Im sure everyone will fond something that speaks to them in here. ❤🌊✌

It is not often I give a 5 star rating. But this place is wonderful!! Everything is certified organic, the teas are available loose leaf or bagged in a non bleached tea bag, offers individual bags(cuppa) so you can try it out before you buy! They carry spices, herbs, local made items, honey, tea pots, and so much more!! The prices are great! The owner is very knowledgeable!!

I have to stop in at least once a month to pick up some teas and refills for my spice & herb cupboard. I love the option to buy your herbs loose or in glass jars, I can’t imagine how many plastic jars I’ve thrown out when I bought from a big box store. My favorite tea is a tie between their Calm your cough and Vanilla Roobios.

Amazing shop!! They have such a huge variety of teas, herbs, and more! There is always something new and lovely in their store. I would recommend the chamomile tea, or the cold and flu tea. During this past winter, many people in the office where I work got sick so I purchased some tea to help. Most everyone who drank it said they felt better and noticed less sniffles!

Their herbs are amazing quality and great prices. Their smudge sticks are even greater. I feel such a positive attraction to.this place. I can't stay away! I've been using their herbs for healing tea and it's helped a lot. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a more natural way. <3

Amazing shop with amazing versatility and options!! Love love love this shop and will be back!! I spent over 50 dollars on herbs alone and the woman who checked me out was patient and so so sweet and funny. Lovely service lovely store.

Loved it! I'm new to the area and wad in search of a place to buy my herbs. Stopped by to check it out, and will definitely be back when my supplies are low. Picked up some teas to try and I loved them!

I have high hopes for this store. I pray that they'll be around for a long time because it's just magical. It's like stepping back in time. Shelves brimming with jars full of all kinds of quality herbs, spices, hand blended teas, etc. It was as if I was in the lair of a wizard. So very cool.

Most items in jars are priced per half ounce or full ounce, depending. They also carry coffee, incense, crystals, soaps, bathbombs and even chocolate bars! Alot is going on in this wonderful little shop. A very welcoming atmosphere that I highly recommend checking out. Brick & Mortar shops like this are a rare breed anymore.
