SPECS is the only store I go to for beer. Georgetown and Round Rock location sell my favorite, Guinness Foreign Extra Stout. I live in Temple and for some reason it can't be sold in Bell County. The staff is always professional, courtesy, and pretty knowledgeable. Thank you SPEC's

It's a Specs store BUT the staff is nice and very helpful. The bourbon/whiskey specialist is so nice. Really explains and suggests new things to try. I'm new to bourbon and he has really helped me fet comfortable and up to speed.

They did not have what I was looking for but still able to pick up a much sought after bourbon at a very reasonable price. Good selection and depending on what you're looking for decent prices.

Great selection on just about EVERYTHING! If you can't find it here! It might not exist! Staff is very friendly and helpful. We took our dog in there and they absolutely loved him! Multiple employees gave him love and made him felt very welcomed. Thank you everyone at Spec's!

Specs has become my all-time favorite liquor store. The location in Georgetown on University is definitely 1 of the best! The prices are super affordable compared to their counterparts and they also have such a huge selection.

I’d also like to add that their customer service is a 10/10. I’ve always had a good experience within the store. Anna, the manager, is such a kind sweet soul who went above and beyond for my family and I regarding a phone that was left on the shelf over the weekend. We were able to retrieve the phone seamlessly. She is a rockstar! Thank you, Anna.

It’s a liquor store. It’s messy at times, you might have to ask where what you want is. The usual vibe. They have a rewards program, and a humidor.

Even though they had a crazy long line, and only one cashier ( which my heart goes out to you because i have been there) it was a wonderful experience. I wish I could remember the guys name that helped us. He was very knowledgeable, and had great customer service.

We ordered the alcohol for our wedding herr. The manager Kirk was extremely helpful and made us feel important as customers and just simply as people. We had no idea what we needed from amount to brand. He recommended all of our wine a champagne and even figured out what we needed for our signature cocktails. The champagne he picked was a hit! He helped us have great drinks for a great night!

This is my preferred spot for all packaged alcohol, I'll admit it. They've got all the types of stuff I drink, and plenty I don't, and they're willing to order stuff they don't have on hand. I do try to bring cash for the discount, though. This is one of those spots you can get a decent mead, hard cider, specialty beer, or choose from shelves full of liquors. The wine selection is great, and if you're not a wine drinker (not a fan) they'll be happy to make recommendations for you.

Jamie, it's all your fault and you made me do it! Here's the story: very recently I "ran" into the W. University Ave, Georgetown Spec's to purchase a (1) bottle of wine! Almost immediately encountered Jamie who asked if he could provide assistance. Yes, I needed assistance locating where the red zinfandel wines were in the store. As he walked me to that area of the store, we engaged in an enthusiastic animated very informative -on his part -
conversation about wines, aerator, wine glasses, etc. And because Jamie knows how to impart information effectively and compellingly, I somehow irresistibly felt the need to purchase 3 bottles of wine, 4 wine glasses and an aerator. It was a pleasure to spend money and spend time at this store because of Jamie's contagious enthusiasm sharing from his rich knowledge reservoir! And, that's why it's Jamie's fault and why I made all those unintended purchases! Thank you Jamie! I am still super thrilled with the aerator and glasses! I've enjoyed, and shared, the additional wines purchased! Spec's, in particular this location, will be my preference because you, Jamie, made it a great experience!!

I enjoy going to Specs. I love the Hill Country wines. We buy Massena Hoff from Fredericksburg. They have reasonable prices. If you want to know something about wines or liquors they can give great advice.

We love specs. Almost every location has a good sized selection, great employees, and always fun to discover new things. They helped me find a oatmeal stout I was looking for. On another visit my wife got to find a beer from deschutz oregon where my wife moved down from it has the flavor of espresso added. They also helped her find some new liquors for us to try. Thanks guys
